23.01.2022 MAYORS XMAS APPEAL - CAIRNS HELPING OUR COMMUNITY IN NEED The Cairns Mayors Xmas Appeal is a cause we love to support each year. They do an amazing job packing food hampers to help those less fortunate than us.... fgf group has kindly donated $4000 & were also able to raise another $725 at our Cairns Cup Corporate Race Day. Thanks to those in the tent who gave to this amazing community cause. If you or your business is able to assist in any way (donations or packing hampers) please contact Cairns Regional Council & ask for Sarah Campbell.

17.01.2022 WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO... fgf is a respected Cairns based company providing high quality civil construction, bitumen and commercial/industrial building services to private and public sector clients throughout Far North Queensland. We take pride in our reputation and our service to customers. Established in 2003, fgf now employs some 70+ skilled staff (with 10% of employees of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island heritage) and also supports an extensive resource of local supplie...rs and subcontractors. We also have a quarry called Toprock, located outside Kuranda that provides various quarry materials to the local region. fgf is also affiliated with Springmount Waste Management facility, CCW and the Springmount Dragstrip. As locals we understand the importance of working together as a community by supporting businesses, sporting clubs & charities in the region through sponsorships, fundraising and donations. Fgf is proud to be involved in one of Cairns’ most iconic events of the year, the Cairns Amateurs & Cairns Cup Racing Carnivals. We organize the largest private corporate tent on course with more than 300+ clients, subcontractors, associates and friends of fgf invited. This fun relaxed environment allows many local businesses the opportunity to network with civil industry representatives throughout the FNQ region and beyond. It is a day of fun, competitions, fashion, food, drinks, live music, good company and a lot of laughs. Touted as one of the best corporate tents on course each year, we aim to ensure everyone enjoys a wonderful day confirmed by the many compliments we receive from invitees, new and old. So now you know about fgf, toot your horn at our trucks, wave out to our guys or stop and say hello anytime, but if you need any help with anything to do with civil construction, give us a call or send us an email.
