25.01.2022 Looking back today on this incredible moment 3 years ago.World title for Jonty and Fgma. Wonderful now to have Jonty TCRG passing on all his experience and knowledge to our young dancers. Still special. We are all super proud.#teamfgma2021 #fgmaworldtitleno3 # glasgow2018 #clrgirishdancing

25.01.2022 Happy Birthday Lola. Welcome to the teenage years. Everyone at Fgma wishes you a magical day ! #teamfgma2020 #birthdaywishes #teenager

24.01.2022 Happy 21st Ben. Usually Aida Inc throws a huge party at Nationals for Bens Birthday that he shares with a few thousand dancers and their families at the end of Nationals Ceili and get together. This year it will be celebrated in a way not quite like any of us ever expected with Bens Family and no dancing. This video really shows how Ben and his mum are such a huge part of our Fgma Dance Family with Ben and his mum dancing together in our ISO Class Feis just after our isolation here in Sydney finished.Beautiful team spirit. #Hapyhappybirthdayben #21 #loveyouririshdancefamily

23.01.2022 Tomorrow we walk into our State Championship. Unlike most regions around the world we are incredibly fortunate to be getting this opportunity. The journey to this point has been hard. Our fabulous Fgma Team have not been together since March due to Covid,Lockdowns,Border Closures , and the pandemic. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Céilí,Shaani ,Jonty, Danae, our Fgma Dancers and their wonderful families. This weekend reflects the team spirit working together. Zoom was... not ideal but it absolutely helped keep Céilí and Shaani connected weekly with our dancers and we are incredibly grateful that everyone so happily worked in with this. This weekend our Fgma dancers are dancing not only for themselves, our Fgma Team, their families but also for every dancer around the world that is not getting this opportunity this year.Special shout out to my bestie Catherine-ann Oxenham who would be in Sydney with us this weekend if ur was not for all our government guidelines. We miss you Cath! Good luck everyone. Enjoy this moment. #teamfgma2020 #state championship #qualifiers #workingtogether See more

15.01.2022 This weekend is our Nsw State Championships which has been running for over 50 years. During that time Miss Jan our Patron and her husband Mr Bob have attended every year. Yesterday was no different. Miss Jan on the adjudication panel and Mr Bob in the audience chatting to all our members and enjoying the dancing. Sadly that was the end of an era as Bob passed away last night. The Nsw Irish Dancing Community has lost a very special member of our world. The dancing continues today as Mr Bob and Miss Jan would have wanted but it’s not quite the same. We do have Mr Bob’s Association Banners that he hand painted for us that will live on and remind us all the important part he played for our State. We’d like to offer sincerest condolences to Miss Jan and her family. Prayers and Thoughts are with you all. Much love from everyone at Fgma

13.01.2022 This year and all it has brought has caused Irish Dancing to go on a different path. The no Feisanna has made us think outside the square and try to incorporate different things within our classes to keep our FGMA Dancers interested and having fun. To bring us into the end of the term we have introduced Pilates each Monday. Fun to stretch and move using muscles we didn’t quite know we had. Looking forward to doing it all again over the next few weeks#teamfgma2020 #thefuncontinues #irishdancingcovidstyle

10.01.2022 Bonnie aged 4 joined our class earlier this year. Whillst watching Esme dancing her treble jig at class there was a lot of discussion on heavy shoes and when a dancer can get a pair. Esme doing her best to explain how you learn the beginner dances first and with age and time you earn the special moment of getting your own pair. After much cute chat Bonnie announces perhaps the Easter Bunny can bring me own pair for Easter!!!! Just love teaching the young ones#teamfgma2021 #littlegirls #newheavyshoes #classchat

06.01.2022 The Birthday Girl. Sending lots of Fgma Cyber hugs and wishes to Céilí.Seeing you on Zoom is definitely not the same as you being here with us all to celebrate. Have the best day. Sending all our love #teamfgma2020 #birthdaywishes #26

06.01.2022 Yesterday was St Patrick’s Day and instead of our usual dance outs we chose as a school to support A Taste Of Ireland with the 1st show of The National tour for 2021. The arts during Covid have been so badly effected so to see the cast full of World Champions from around the world and the the musicians endure Quarantine in Sydney for 2 weeks for the chance to be up on the stage loving the chance to perform and dance in our country was really a moment some thought would not... be occurring for some time yet. Don’t think there was anyone in the audience who didnt love that live theatre is back and for anyone with a passion the Irish dance this was a moment worth being a part of. The show was fantastic and our FGMA representatives Céilí,Brent and Jonty led the cast in a wonderful show. So great to see your energy, love and talents back up in the stage to entertain us all. Special mention to our Parton Miss Jan who joined Sydneysiders in the audience to support. Congratulations! #teamfgma2021 #stpatricksday #atasteofireland #thearts #greatteamsupport See more

05.01.2022 This memory has popped up on our Fgma Feed.Such a great day shared by some of our younger dancers during State Céilí 2019.So much change in a year.Sadly won’t be sharing any of this fun together in 2020.These are a wonderful reminder of the fun and good times Irish Dancers share creating memories to last a life time!!! #teamfgma2020 #2021gettingcloser #feisfriendsarethebestfriends #missingthesemagicmoments

05.01.2022 When you are in your 1st year of Irish Dancing and go to the park. What else would you do but teach your friends what you know. Love how Hallie calls me Mrs Fiona. Mrs Fiona Loves it #teamfgma2020. #littleonesatethebest #holidayfun

02.01.2022 A big birthday shout out to the birthday boy Jonty . Happy happy birthday from the Fgma friends and family. Thanks for being a great part of our team . #teamfgma2020 #birthdayboy #turning22

02.01.2022 Our New South Wales State Championship full of personal bests! What a fabulous weekend of dancing. A few snaps from some of our Fgma Representatives who did themselves proud. #teamfgma2020 #qualifiers #statechampionship #finallyhere #workinginwithcovud

01.01.2022 And so our day begins. So honoured to have our Patron Miss Jan to share her expertise examining our Grade Exams today. Good Luck Everyone!

01.01.2022 Little Mia is Fgma youngest dancer age 2. But due to a very good dancing birthday born in January Mia is in the 1s this year. Today she joined Aida Inc Initiative Camp Connect on Zoom. These pics show a sweet little girl very engaged in her lesson and her love of Irish Dance. We at Fgma think this shows a pretty remarkable child and the future for Irish Dancing in Australia will hopefully shine bright with all the other little ones who can jump on zoom and truly love every second of the Irish dancing moment provided by Aida Inc. Thankyou to all involve these past 2 weekends .Some extra Irish dancing fun that they otherwise would not have got to enjoy!#teamfgma2020 #thefuture #irishdancingtinytots @aidainc
