25.01.2022 We made history today.....and you should all be proud of what you did to contribute to bringing rugby league back in Central Queensland and Rockhampton in 2020.....when the record books show there was no premiership in 2020 there will be an asterisk saying despite the season being cancelled the Fitzroy Gracemere Club were determined to bring rugby league to the community and staged a one day carnival to fly the flag for rugby league....and under all the restrictions and requirements for the control of the virus that brought an end to the 2020 season....we put on a day of Rugby League for everyone to enjoy....and it was a great success....

20.01.2022 Doubles this week and until the Grand Final will be $5 to $500 on Friday Nights Game and $2 to $200 on Saturday Nights Game between the EELs and the Storm and then the same the following two weeks until the Grand Final....we will be running a $10 to $1000 on the Grand Final between the EELS and Penrith....

Tonight we train for the last time this season in preparation for Saturdays Day of Rugby League at Saleyards Park with teams from Emu Park, Valleys, Wallabies, Calliope, Woorabinda, All Stars and Fitzroy Gracemere.....Training at 6pm for Men and Womens Teams....

18.01.2022 Over the coming months we will see many improvements being undertaken at the Clubhouse thanks to a lot of hard work done by the current Management Committee and support of Barry O'Rourke through the State Governments Community Gambling Fund grant of $35,000.... The improvements will include - Plaster Board repairs to the ceilings and walls ($4000) - Done.... Painting of the repairs ($4000) - Starting 18th of January. Repairs to windows and doors - Damo Damian Bohan New Curtains - Donated by Nat and Graeme White Refurbishment of the Kitchen ($32,000) - Starting in February. Restoration of Premiership Photos - ($7,500) Need your Support. Air Conditioning - ($17,500) Need your support. Cold Room Repairs - ($8,500) Need your support. Floor coverings - ($10,000) Need your support. There has been a lot of great work done over the pat 12 Months by many people.....if you can help just a little or a lot we would gratefully receive your support....we want to see the Sharks back at the top of the Rockhampton Rugby League and can only do this with your support... 17.01.2022 10 a Side full field Rugby League Touch..... starting on Tuesday night at Saleyards Park at 6pm for the first game.....We will be starting an in house Rugby League Touch Competition on Tuesday Night with our Coaching Team picking four Captains to lead a group of up to 15 players in a Rugby League Touch Competition. Team Sheets will need to be completed so get there early.......The Rules are Rugby League rules except it is touch instead of tackle with three man scrums, drop goals, unlimited interchange and full field competition. We will not have any kicks for touch from penalties and we will not have sin bins.....any poor sportsmanship will be immediate send off and dont come back.... It is all about hard work, commitment and RESPECT....go the Sharks

16.01.2022 What a great day of Rugby League and the winner was.....Rugby League.....well done to Emu Park for taking out the double....Men and Women’s Cups....they will be cherished mementos of what has been a challenging year....very proud of our Clubs efforts today....on and off the field....the gallant greens of old....well done.....and thank you to all who helped out....it was a huge team effort for Rugby League....

06.01.2022 Off Season Training will continue at 6pm SHARP every Tuesday and Thursday Nights through November and December 2020 with A Grade Coach Lee Bob, Ladies Coach Tash Lamey, Reserve Grade Coach Gerald Canham and Under 19 Coach Damian Bohan....Training will continue on Tuesdays and Thursday Nights with some weekend work and include Combine Benchmark Testing, Aerobics, MMA, Skill Work, Playing Strategy, One on One Player Development planning and more...COVID 19 Controls will be in place....Bring your own water bottle and towels.....Anyone who wants to play Rugby League in 2021 are welcome....Go the Sharks Bring your own Water Bottle Please - COVID 19 Controls are in place.
