21.01.2022 I just wanted to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you who has put up your hand to help with the WA Nationals Safer Road Signage petition led by ...Nationals member for the North West Vince Catania. Since I threw my hat in the ring a few weeks back, I have been completely overwhelmed with offers of help to get this extremely important petition out all over this great big state of ours! To the truck drivers, local business people, roadhouse workers and owners, pastoralists and farmers, townspeople, the city friends who understand our fight and have got behind us, to all the rural road users who know how much is at stake and to the amazing journalists (radio and print) who have given this issue the coverage it deserves - THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!! And special thanks to you Vincent Catania for making this petition happen in the first place! The bush has a big heart and a big appetite for change to current signage practices on our rural roads and it’s been brewing for a long time now. We are calling for a bipartisan review of road works signage to be completed before the end of the year. We want to see Main Roads WA policies and procedures regarding road signage be adhered to no matter how remote the road. We are calling for adequate, clear, standing road signage. Rural communities have lost too many precious lives in accidents and we want to see the necessary changes makes to Main Roads WA procedures to ensure road signage is safe and adequate. We have a week and a half to go so let’s make every single day count everyone! Keep em rolling in! The response had been nothing short of incredible! If petitions could be posted back to Vince Catania, MLA, Member for North West Central by Friday 31st July in time for the deadline of August 7th 2020 that would be wonderful. The address is below: Vince Catania Member for North West Central PO BOX 1000 Carnarvon WA 6701 If anyone wants me to get them safely to Carnarvon just say the word and I’m on the job! Thanks to one and all! Words are simply not enough Photo credit to the amazing and talented Crystal Sirrine. See more

10.01.2022 Baubles workshop coming up.

10.01.2022 Apologies for the long silence. Transferring stock from the shop to the Studio was a much bigger challenge. I had greatly under estimated! Mostly all done now with still a bit of sorting left to do. I then proceeded to get the very nasty flu which kept coming back so all in all have had a very bad August. Studio will open now at the beginning of October. It is looking amazing with new paint job & I am enjoying working in it. This dress have just finished altering. Beautifull...y beaded. Will keep you updated See more

07.01.2022 Unfortunately the felting workshop scheduled for tomorrow in Toodyay had to be cancelled due to a lack of numbers. Decided to wait until August before rescheduling due to Bev being away until the end of July. School holidays are always difficult to get numbers. This gives me more time to get samples & preparations done. We look forward to catching up with some of you then.

07.01.2022 Great workshops held here

06.01.2022 Well it’s high time I did an update. 7 Th July I am planning a hat or bag making at Toodyay Anglican Hall & would love to see some of you there. It is from 9 a.m until 4p.m All details are on this website East-fibre arts.tidyhq.com Since closing Regal & Rustic at the end of June last year amongst other things I have been busy creating! Miss the shop & all the wonderful people who supported me. My Studio at the house is lovely but just not big enough to do workshops.

04.01.2022 I have been meaning to post an update for a while.Regal & Rustic is in the process of shifting from the shop in Forrest St to the old Dr's Surgery & waiting room which is part of our home. All though it is not as large as the shop it is a lovely light space. It is situated just further up Forrest St & on the corner of High St. It has a separate access to the room from the corner & there will be a sign up when the transition has taken place & I am open for custom. Plan is I will be able to focus more on my work & future workshops & reduce the costs of running a commercial business.
