14.01.2022 This Northern end of the Gold Coast has serious issues with infrastructure so its good to see it being put in however, the roads are a massive issue especially accessing the M1. I know the Coomera Connector is not overly popular with residents that have houses near where it is planned to go but maybe this video helps to explain why it is so badly needed. I know its a heated subject but its not something that is going to go away, the population explosion is happening and will continue to happen. People save for years to come on a holiday here, of course people also want to live here as well.
14.01.2022 Border Update Queensland’s Chief Health Office has declared all of NSW and ACT as COVID-19 hotspots. Borders will close from 1am Saturday, August 8. All vis...itors will be denied entry with few exemptions. Returning Queenslanders will have to pay for 14 days mandatory quarantine in a hotel. Residents of border communities and essential workers will still be able to cross. More details to come.

This is NOT from a Political Party..... this is from the Real Estate Institute of Australia. If you think the proposed changes will not effect you...... you need to think again. It WILL effect EVERYONE. I have heard it said that the only reason Real Estate Agents care about these changes is because they will make less money - ABSOLUTE RUBBISH - It... was deregulated years ago, we can charge whatever percentage we want.......and for those who have rental properties, they will actually make more money if the changes do get through because rents will be higher. 10.01.2022 There has got to be something we can do!!!!!!! NYMBOIDA is the little country town where I raised my family. I owned the General Store, was the President of the School Council and Vice President of the P& C, my parents built their dream home there, my sisters family had acreage there....... we all moved on many years ago BUT my heart just hurts knowing the people there, knowing the country town that is weeping...... I dont know what, but there has to be something we can do.... From reports I have heard just about every house is gone, the villiage is gone, the school is gone..... I cant find anything about the Coaching Station - Where we used to own the General Store - but everything surrounding it is gone. I know we cant get in there right now, but there has to be something. 08.01.2022 Let me start by saying I am all for tenants rights JUST AS I AM LANDLORD RIGHTS. This is just plain STUPID ...... I have no other word. A landlord can not decide not to renew a lease at the end of a tenancy. ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!!!... The owner of a home cannot decide they don’t want animals living in it. WHAT THE...... A tenant is allowed to modify a house they DO NOT OWN........ THIS HAS GOT TO BE A JOKE It does not take an expert to realize that landlords will sell their investment. Most of our landlords are Mums and dads, not the so called rich with a massive property portfolio. What is it that Labor has against the property market, do the think tenants are not switched in enough to realize that there will be less houses to rent and so the rents will go up and it will be harder to get approved. And before anyone says...... of course you would say that, you’re looking after the landlords....... I AM A TENANT....... AND I DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, NOR SHOULD I EVER.....TO CONTROLL WHAT HAPPENS WITH A PROPERTY I DO NOT OWN!!!!!!!! I am blown away...... 04.01.2022 Saturday was a GREAT day for me. Saturday 18th May 2019 was my 50th Birthday and boy did I celebrate once I heard the Election Result. REIQ have stated below "We’ve even heard reports that Chris Bowen confirmed on Saturday night that the real estate agents cost him this election." Now while I would love to think I put a stop to our clients being so terribly caught up in an idiots plans to destroy the property market..... I do not for one second make that claim...... It was an entire country that made it very clear to BS that its time for him to go.
