21.01.2022 The Filipino fruit salad from our workshop today. Instead of the usual canned condensed milk, I used the condensed milk recipe from Cookidoo. It was nice and creamy. Not too sweet. It makes the fruit salad taste a bit different than the usual, in a good way. I loved it! Give this recipe a go. It's simple and super easy. And if you make it with the Thermie made condensed milk, tell us which version you prefer, canned or homemade?

14.01.2022 Chicken Macaroni Salad with homemade mayonnaise. This is from the cooking workshop today. I used the cooked mayonnaise recipe from Cookidoo. Can't believe how easy to make your own and delicious too.
13.01.2022 4 blades + many hands make light work. Instead of slaving around in the kitchen, why not let Thermomix do most of the work for you? These days, it’s always about working smarter not harder. If my Thermomix can finely chop, mix the ingredients, do a job in less than a couple of minutes that would otherwise take me at least 20 minutes to do by hand, for me that would mean saving time and energy to do other fun stuff (or other not fun stuff that needed to be done). And because ...you can do all these in one machine, for me it means less mess, less washing at the end and a more enjoyable cooking experience. Win win!!
08.01.2022 I think I found my new Leche Flan recipe. For the cooking class yesterday, I used the Creme Caramels recipe in Cookidoo. I wasn’t too sure at first because the recipe involves using the sugar stages mode and I have not done this mode before. But I’m glad I’ve tried it. The caramel was made in the thermie, meaning I don’t have to stand over the stove watching and guessing if the caramel syrup is ready. The caramel was spot on, not too sweet and not bitter either. I also liked the result of the custard. Lighter and less rich than the usual. An added bonus for me was the self clean step built into the recipe between making the caramel and the custard. No more soaking and scrubbing. Thermie does most of the hard work in my kitchen these days, I think I owe it a Christmas present
07.01.2022 Korean Fried Chicken in Cookidoo Simon was on dinner duty last night so he got to pick what’s for dinner and help with the cook. Our first time trying this recipe and it did not disappoint!!! Chicken coating was good, super crunchy and with just a tiny hint of ginger which I like. The sauce was ok, we did not have the korean chili paste so we just used a chili jam that we have in the fridge. It was a bit runny so I ran the cooking step again to thicken it up a bit. We... did not mix the sauce with the chicken since everyone had different preference on how much sauce to put so we kept it on the side. There was a lot of mmmm-ing while eating we actually finished all 1kg of chicken cooked last night
