25.01.2022 Ten years ago, when Gwyneth Paltrow released a press release on her Goop website telling the world that she was consciously uncoupling from her husband and father of her children, many dismissed her for being a new age hippy. A decade on, Gwyneth reflects on how collaborative law helped her to negotiate a tailor-made, child-focused solution that allowed her family to remain intact despite separation. Thanks to my fellow collaborative law student Bronwyn O’Loan for this g...reat article. https://www-vogue-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org//gwyneth-paltro

09.01.2022 This is a fabulous grant opportunity. Does anyone know any young people with some great ideas? https://www.fya.org.au/yapgs/ Sent from my iPhone

05.01.2022 We need better solutions to this crisis. A good start would be more resources for Lawyer Assisted Mediations and Collaborative Law processed to help people craft their own solutions for their families and relieve the stress on the family law courts. https://www.abc.net.au//family-law-courts-reform/12620134

02.01.2022 In the recent high conflict case of Sallard & Wardle [2020] FCCA 1646 (26 June 2020), Fielden and Associates successfully advocated for a mother who was accused of posing an unacceptable risk of harm to her children. The Father alleged she was a drug user who abused her son’s Ritalin medication and amongst other things subjected the children to neglect due to running out of toilet paper occasionally and requiring the children to use public showers at the beach for two days... whilst she had her rainwater tanks scoured and cleaned. We were able to prove that the Mother did not pose an unacceptable risk of harm to the children and secure Orders for them to live with the Mother and for her to have sole parental responsibility for them. http://www.austlii.edu.au//au/cases/cth/FCCA/2020/1646.html
