22.01.2022 Totally forgot, my 9yrs as a ZUMBA Instructor was on 13th February! Get ready for a PARTY CLASS on TUE 12th March!! Can't believe my first class EVER was on 9th March 2010.... Never had participated in a ZUMBA class before that....had only seen the infomercials selling the DVDs on TV. I remember my friend Jaime in those infomercials & thinking, "I could do that" I researched this dance-fitness called ZUMBA & found out they were holding their first ever instructor trainings in Sydney from July 2009 but couldn't make the first few as I had other commitments BUT eventually I DID & the rest, they say, is history! THANK YOU to all the participants that have rock'd the dancefloor & stage with me throughout the years!! Couldn't have done it without you! Now to think of a theme (we haven't already done) for the PARTY CLASS.......

09.01.2022 PLEASE READ: It's been hard to post this as I've been wanting to find the right words but realise I just need to write (or ramble on) from the heart Riuben & I have decided to finish up classes end of this month - so last class will be TUE 28th MAY... Reasons for this decision are a few - because we are both shift workers, we need to spend more time as a family. Riuben, because of his injury, has been MIA for awhile now and need to get that sorted. Alot of time goes into holding the classes (not just dancing away for 1hr) including keeping the classes fresh & interesting, choreography, preparing for party classes, rehearsing etc & that's time away from family (Cruz & as a family). I, personally give so much of my energy to every class to lift the energy & vibe in the room & especially double that I dont have Riuben to bounce off we are really needing the freedom to do what we want & not have the obligation to think about the classes. More freedom to travel, family time & flexibility at work. It's the right decision for this moment & time in our lives. Most of you know that we've been instructors since 2010 & had a year break in 2016 to focus more on Cruz. We came back to only one class a week to give it a go & see how much of an impact it would be & now have made this decision based on our current circumstances. Life is constantly changing & who knows, either of us can down the track, hold a class, cover a class, hold a party class - who knows Riuben will be MIA for awhile but I will definitely be still active but on my own terms & schedule - just not holding classes We want to thank those immensely that have supported & come to classes on our return to Carlton South. Our super regulars that come rain, hail or shine & always have a smile on their faces Our ZUMBA chicas that always offer a helping hand & support on stage, especially since Riuben's injury. We will surely MISS YOU ALL!! Our last class on TUE 28th will be a 90min PARTY CLASS to wrap things up SOOOOOOO, Let's PARTY like we always do for the remaining 4 weeks & SEE YOU TONIGHT!! 7:30pm CARLTON SOUTH Public School (Entry via Ecole Street)

01.01.2022 Hey guys!! It’s been a while since I’ve posted here & hope everyone has been keeping well considering the circumstances. After finishing off our classes a year ago, we were busy with Qantas & Virgin and family life but now we’re at home....busy painting & homeschooling since COVID19 came into our lives.... Unfortunately, I couldn’t work my last week at the airport because I fell sick & was tested for Covid19 and thankfully results came back negative but couldn’t see my friends at work considering we don’t know when we’ll see eachother again I’ve been thinking of holding a class since all this came about and have to fit it around the painting & reorganising the house Soooooo, come and join me for a FREE class this Saturday 9th May at 10am! I need to get this body moving, otherwise I won’t fit into my QF uniform when we get back Message me for more info & I will also set up an event page for you to join See you then!!
