24.01.2022 How is everybody?

22.01.2022 Transport Workers are threatening to blockade Clive’s mine The TWU has been inundated with messages from transport workers who want to refuse to load trucks and... refuse to deliver to Clive’s mine. Palmer wants to infect WA by opening the borders for his own selfish greed. On top of that he wants to rob every man, woman, child and baby by suing our state for $30 billion. So transport workers want to boycott his operations. Transport workers are on team WA and think this parasite can leave our state alone. Share to say F*** YOU Clive and stand behind transport workers because transport workers stand behind West Australians.

14.01.2022 Its been a bit quiet here, and for that I apologise. I have been slogging away at Uni determined to get a law degree so coupled with the psychology, bigger changes can be made. I know how FIFO affects individuals, families and networks, and the effects are very varied. FIFO might not be the easiest job to do but it doesnt mean that companies can slack off from their responsibilities. They need to be looking after the human resources as they are more valuable than what we tak...e from the ground . I might not have been active on this page but I never stop working towards a healthier FIFO environment for all involved. I would love to hear peoples opinions on the current state of FIFO, including whether or not you believe companies are changing towards a better work environment. For those of you who were with us back in 2014 and supported our call for better Mental Health recognition, our call was heard, and with strong voices from many other individuals and organisations, and legislation was amended. I am happy to share the link to Hansard for anyone who is interested Stay good, Stay safe, Stay strong, Jodi

11.01.2022 Thoughts? All opinions welcome without judgement While I believe in gender equality, (Im a woman), I also believe it should be the best qualified and experienced person for the job regardless of gender.

10.01.2022 6 months after Jim died, we put together this awesome Mothers Day hamper to raise awareness of Mental health in FIFO. My son was 7 when he said his final goodbyes to his Dad. He is now13, and twice as tall. He has grown into a wonderful, smart and caring young man who I am extremely proud of.My heart will always break at the memory of the 2 boys walking behind the hertz, one 7, one 17. they are memories etched for life I mentioned last year that I would be closing the page so I can concentrate on my Law Degree, but I changed my mind, I cant help if I do not know the issues. I dont know all the issues unless we all have a conversation. We have lost enough, lets not lose anymore!

06.01.2022 Hello, seeing who is here please as I would like to start a discussion. Thankyou

06.01.2022 Hi all How is everybody? I apologise for my absence, I study law while working, I run a mobile therapy service, help my 13 year old run a small business, and many other things, so my absence isnt out of not caring.... I was having a discussion with a legal mate about company duty of care and whether companies in FIFO take their duty of care seriously. We were also talking about how companies can use that duty of care unfairly by using it for reasons for a window seat and other detriments I also learned a few other interesting laws related to OHSC and liability So I thought I would post our query here and see what you all think. Thankyou

06.01.2022 Hi all, this originally started as a way to make change in FIFO and support any who may feel they need it. The original agenda was changing rosters to be more family friendly. There has been a recent call lately for a roster review, so I put it to all of you who know the effects first hand, how do you feel about the rosters? There has been a lot of talk about findings etc, but do you feel there has been any real action or real implementation of change? would be interested to hear al opinions
