23.01.2022 This is such a hard post as this beautiful owl means so much to me. Bruiser lost his battle on Wednesday I still can't believe he is gone. My daily life isn't going to be the same without him, his constant woofing will be dearly missed. Fly high Bruiser your free now.

22.01.2022 The work I do at Bird of Prey Rescue is often rewarding, especially when birds are released after being injured or orphaned. Unfortunately that is not always possible. I always endeavour to find the best life for birds that have been displaced or are unable to go back to the wild. Evie and Mamu enjoy your new home.

21.01.2022 Bruiser has made some improvements, but has a long way to go. He briefly managed to sit up for a mini today so I'm hopeful he will continue to improve. Vets have said he is suffering a neuro toxin of some sort, so I can only hope he keeps getting better from here on in. He is a fighter and I'm in his corner.

10.01.2022 This poor Peregrine Falcon came into care several months ago through the RSPCA and has been in care with a fantastic raptor carer in Brisbane. Before the bird arrived with Tim, she was housed incorrectly as her cere, beak and feathers were damaged. This was a young peregrine only in her first year. It's taken some time but she is healing well, this lovely girl will join our education team and we can't wait for you to meet her.
