10.01.2022 I only have a set of 20-lb DBs at home for right now, and so I’m getting creative trying to get enough volume to keep my muscles responsive, while also getting ...in a little cardio too. This video contains two different up chains complexesa term coined by @jadetetato describe adding an additional rep every round through, on a longer complex, from 1 rep the first time through, to eventually getting 10 reps. First complex: Push-up/row/jump/bent-over row*/fly On each round of the complex, you add one additional row (asterisked), and all other moves stay at a single rep. In this vid, I show the complex up to 5 reps of rows. You’ll keep going until you get to 10 reps. THAT constitutes 1 set. Complete 3 sets for time. Rest as needed. I used 20s, rested A LOT, and finished that first complex in 10:20. Then I rested 2 minutes before starting the ... Second complex: Lunge R/lunge L/squat*/squat jump We’re adding reps to the squat, all other movements only happen once. In the vid, I show the complex up to 5 reps, but you’ll keep going until you get to 10 reps on squats. That equals one set. Complete 3 sets for time, resting as needed. I used 20s and finished in 12:25. Probably not going to be getting stronger hand over foot with this workout, but certainly plenty of overload and plenty of cardio.
