The nature of technique training is to become more economical in your movements because this economy of movement will enable you to produce more force in a single attack or more force over the span of multiple attacks. This means that if an opponent is of equal technical skill to you but they are bigge...r or stronger than you - they will win. This is the harsh reality of combat, however you do have other tools at your disposal. These are strategy and tactics which take form in combat as your ability to utilise gravity, mechanics and angles to create a disparity in force between you and your opponent. A strategic and tactical approach that focuses on the use of technique and skill to lead to advantages is gravitational, angular and mechanical force disparity will enable you to have far greater success against opponents who are both stronger, bigger and even more technically skilled than you. @AaronBlackie @SheldonIsitt
