25.01.2022 At FightMND, we strive to fund the most promising research projects with the best chance of developing a treatment or cure for MND. This is made possible thanks to the support of researchers from Australia and overseas who volunteer their time to review submissions for FightMND's research Grant Round. We would like to sincerely thank these experts for playing such a vital role in our 2020 grant review process. The full lineup of FightMND-funded research projects for 2020 will be announced next month, so stay tuned!

13.01.2022 MND takes people. For Lyndal, who has familial MND in her family, MND has taken her Grandfather, Dad, aunt, cousin and most recently, her younger sister Jo, who was only 42. Lyndal knows that the chances are, 'The Beast' won't stop there. Bring hope to families like Lyndal’s this Christmas by donating to FightMND. While in the very early stages, the initial findings from the work in the laboratory are promising. The study was published in the prestigious scientific journal Ce...ll & FightMND is proud to have played a role in this project by supporting the FightMND Drug Screening Platform and the Victorian Brain Bank at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health through previous funding.
