16.01.2022 Yesterday was R U OK? Day. More than anything though, it should be a reminder of what we should be doing more consistently with the people in our lives. It's not just about 1 day that we ask people if they are ok, but something we should be doing with more intent. Too often we ask people how they are without waiting for a response or without completely acknowledging their response. These words become meaningless. We need to stop, listen and be open to not only asking how someone is going, but also being able to express how we feel with those around us. We may not have all the answers, be able to choose the right words to say or feel like we are making a difference, but remembering that we can be there willing to listen to someone and support them can make the biggest difference and ultimately can lead to a life changing moment.

16.01.2022 Only 3 days left to get in for the 12 Week Self Defence Course Early Bird Rates. Get in quick as spaces are limited!

14.01.2022 It is undoubtedly a sad day in karate history. Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa has passed away. It is such a great loss as he has been a pinnacle mentor, teacher and pioneer in Shotokan Karate. His legacy and teachings will continue to influence and live on for many generations to come. OSS!!

Thanks Nature Smart for making our food taste so good without using any chemicals If you want an awesome gardener who can help you maintain your garden check out Nature Smart's fb page

13.01.2022 Even though you may be self isolating doesn’t mean you can‘t get in your exercises and have fun too. This morning Karen and I had our first online session together. It was a learning curve, we adapted and we had a great session. Working together makes us stronger together

10.01.2022 Congratulations once again to Laura who competed at last month's 13th SKIF World Championships in the Czech Republic. Laura came to see me to help build strength, speed, power and to ensure she got back on track post an ACL repair. Her hard work over the past 7 months prior to competing enabled her to get her body and mind ready to go up against the best in the world. Her dedication and focus to her training and preparation saw her come away with 2 bronze medals in the Women's Individual Masters Kumite and Masters Team Kumite. Also a big congratulations to the rest of the SKIA team who put in an awesome effort and did Australia proud. #fightperformanceandrehab #shotokankarate #strengthandconditioning #rehab #strength #power #speed #mobility #preparationiskey #sewactivefabrics
