The design explores finding opportunity in the redundancies of volume within existing heritage dwelling expressed through sculptural form insertions into the existing building fabric. 12.01.2022 Our completed End of Trip Facilities for Deakin University Burwood Campus. Providing Male and Female change rooms and bike storage. The design approach looked at extending the street into the interior of the building to create a internal laneway. The raw exposed concrete ceilings are contrasted with large wayfinding graphics with the bike enclosure set behind a black wire cage to further enhance the visual permeability. 07.01.2022 Currently on the drawing board our beacon of light project looks at extending the home to the full extents fo the site. The design explores the packing and unpacking of the domestic container allowing the house to expand and contract depending on number of occupants. Living areas extend into the outdoor courtyard and create activation between internal external programs.
