We’re currently working with the team at Byron Bay Weddings to assist our impacted couples who had upcoming weddings. When this all passes, and it will, we look forward to sharing our love of food and bringing people together again. 19.01.2022 We woke today to the worst news for our beautiful venue and family home. Our venue has been devastated by a fire overnight. We are in complete shock, as we know many of you will be. We are urgently calling all of our booked weddings and relocating bookings to other Byron venues. We ask for your patience and consideration at this time. Thank-you to the firefighters of Byron Bay who worked to try to save this special home. It is completely heartbreaking.

12.01.2022 Friday night cocktail time! It's been a very busy couple of weeks/months! We're getting really excited for the big reveal of the new restaurant. We can't wait to welcome you very soon. We haven't opened our restaurant bookings just yet, but stay tuned, this isn't too far away. Delicious cocktail 'Lord Byron Mojito' as recommended by our restaurant manager, Kate, to take us into another beautiful summer's weekend in Byron.

09.01.2022 Yesterday in the midst of all the emotions, the Fig Tree celebrated the wedding anniversary of Charly & Heather Devlin, who were the first to be married under the Fig Tree on the 3rd of November 1980. They opened the restaurant a few months later. The outreach of love and support you have all shared with us over this weekend has given us great strength and resolve. It has been an enormous shock, but please also know we have taken great comfort in all your messages and feel yo...ur arms wholeheartedly around us. The Fig Tree Restaurant building is no longer, but her spirit still shines bright. We will rebuild and can’t wait to welcome you home to your table at the Fig Tree.
