Welcome to the Mary Valley Steiner School initiative :) We are a group of local people including teachers and parents, who are passionate about Steiner Educ...ation, and have come together to start a Steiner School for the Mary Valley. A Steiner School located within the Gympie Regional Council area would provide local children, young people and their families with an opportunity to engage with an established educational model that provides lifelong benefits for individuals and the development of a healthy community. We would like the first class for the Mary Valley Steiner School to commence in 2020 (that's next year!), but for this to happen, we need enough community support to start a Steiner playgroup. The playgroup is the first step to gaining the first student intake for the Mary Valley Steiner School. That means we need promotional material to spread the word, and supplies for the playgroup which we'd like to have up and running by the middle of this year. Watch this space for details of how you can support us with fundraising for promotional and playgroup materials soon! If you would like to register your interest in your children attending the Mary Valley Steiner School when we open, please message us with your childrens' ages and your email address.
