20.01.2022 Hi families, Sorry to have to do this to you this morning, due to a bout of gastro starting up in one of our little kids we are going to have to suspend playgroup till next week, which is Christmas party week. Due to the contagious nature of gastro and Christmas coming up, it is best we are extra cautious and keep the children safe from sickness and ourselves. ... Thank you for your understanding.

19.01.2022 Hi families. Next Tuesday we are having a small birthday party for all our kids born in January and February. So far I have 2 little boys with their birthday in February. ... If you have a child born within these two months, can you please advise myself (Stacey) tomorrow at playgroup. This event will continue on the 3rd week of every month. So please don't hesitate to advise me of any of your children's birthdays for upcoming months. If you have any birthday craft or activity ideas for the kids please advise me also so they can be included. Next week's craft will be colouring in birthday cakes, balloons that I will personally organise myself. Thanks.

18.01.2022 Hi families please read this post in regards to this year for playgroup. Pinned post for 2020 - Playgroup runs every Tuesday 10:45-12:30pm (unless notified due to illness) - The fee for our Playgroup is $4 every week. This covers all rent and any resources we need to keep running our wonderful group.... - Every term there will be a meeting on the 3/4 week. Please join along to these as our members inputs and ideas really help run our group - We are setting up a craft roster next to our sign in sheet. Please volunteer to do some craft time with the children. It is so great for their development. - We are also setting up a Clean up, story time/music and pack up roster. What this will be is during this time 12-12:15pm if a parent can please volunteer to entertain the children with one of our many books, a game or a some music or dancing, while the rest of our group clean up all toys. - There is a suggestion box that will also be put at sign in. You can put ideas you'd like inside. These can include, excursions, activities, events, resources or even memos to bring to our attention for our meetings every term. - In the middle of each month we will be holding a birthday party for all kids born in this month. If holidays land in-between these i.e Christmas we will celebrate two months in the one. We will advise of the date these will be held so all can join in. They have also offered a food package for $5 which include: 4 nuggets and chips or Frankfurt’s and chips $5 ... Or sandwich, watermelon or apple and a pop top drink $5 (NOTE: Little stompers don't allow outside food due to allergies.) It will during normal playgroup hours. Unfortunately, Figtree/Unanderra playgroup will be postponed until a new committee has formed. A return to weekly sessions of Figtree/Unanderra Playgroup will require nominating a new coordinator and supporting committee members. ... All positions are currently vacant including coordinator, secretary and treasurer. 10.01.2022 Unanderra Community Centre are hoping to run playgroup again in Term 4.. Potential to run Tuesdays 930-1130 in the rear hall (open to the garden). Fees to be advised.... Unanderra Community Centre is a COVID-safe venue.

10.01.2022 Hi families. Next week we will be having the seniors join us in the morning. We have Christmas craft planned for next week, which will include paint, glitter and glue. ... During this week I will be doing all the prep work for the craft. One of our lovely kids helped me today choose what craft we will be doing. They include puppets, Christmas masks and faces, Christmas tree, paddlepop ginger bread men using our fingers for buttons, angels and more. Please prepare for little paint mess for next week. I will also be keeping the decorations the kids don't want to take home for their Christmas tree, for our Christmas party on the 17th. Please don't forget to RSVP for the Xmas party as we don't want children to miss out. See you all next week for a day of Christmas craft fun.

04.01.2022 Hi Families, please have a read. Next week's playgroup will be at the UOW Discovery space. If you have never been before, and have a library card you can get one free pass to enter. ... Same playgroup times 10:45-12:30 unless your child loves the space so much they don't want to leave. If you are interested there is an ugly duckling cafe attached to the space for coffee and great food. On the next week of playgroup we will be holding the birthday month for March and a Meeting. This meeting is valuable for all parents to attend as there are a few items Felicia and I would love to discuss with you all in regards to our playgroup. So please attend. Have a good week everyone. 02.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE Dear Member Families Playgroup will stop meeting from now until beginning of Term 3. ... We hope the current health crisis will have stabilised by then and families will feel comfortable to socialise normally again. The future of playgroup is uncertain at that time as both Stacey and myself have now finished our term on the committee and playgroup members will need to nominate a new committee to keep playgroup running from Term 3 onward. I welcome any expression of interest from you or anyone you can recommend. It’s been nice to meet you all and spend time with you and your little ones. Thankyou for your attendance. 01.01.2022 What a Christmas party!!!! So much yummy food and surprise presents for the little ones. OH MY GOSH!!! Thank you for Sandra who runs the community centre and Felicia for getting that organised for the kids. And thanks to Ray White for doing such an amazing thoughtful donation. This is a wrap for playgroup 2019. ... We hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! See you all again in the new year. *Side note we will post when playgroup is starting back up again in February . But for now we are going to have a break and enjoy time with our families.*
