To have a beautiful blend of native flowers in soft pastels complimented with some deeper reds and eucalyptus greens was their vision for the day and we made it happen! 19.01.2022 Some cooler hues to match this weather Hope everyone is staying warm, dry safe and sane with this tremendous show Mother Nature has put on for us here in NSW over the last couple of weeks. The lack of activities is certainly getting to me and I’m so looking forward to some sunshine and waves! Saying that, I’m happy, healthy and have a roof over my head so I have a lot to be grateful for. Grateful for these times to sit and recharge my batteries

10.01.2022 In this crazy time of year, remember to breathe and take time for yourself. (Quoted from the incredible @breathemagazine_australia if you haven’t checked it out you should!) Silly Season is well and truly under way and whilst it’s one of the busiest and bestest times of the year you will be doing yourself a favour by taking a moment for both reflection and for breathe. I hope everyone can find a moment of solitude and slowness this season and when it arrives...embrace it. Re...flect on the WILD year it’s been and still is....BE there, be present in that moment and breathe. Good will always come from a moment of peace, even if it is just a simple, fleeting breathe. 09.01.2022 FIKA (n) given to a moment to slow down and appreciate the good things in life. Sooooo, I am a coffee drinker. Every day I wake up somewhat happier knowing I’m about to do my morning practices followed by a beautiful, aromatic iced long black coffee. Although this Sunday, I was feeling a little chilly, a little tired (to be honest a little slow from the night prior), and for first time in a little while I went and made myself a cup of lemon and ginger tea, set up on the co...uch and read my book for a couple of hours. It wasn’t until I sat down that I realised I never do this! I never just sit on the couch, in the day, and read a book. Especially on the weekend! I’m always off doing something, outdoors or with someone or maybe doing nothing but I’m filling that moment in a social network vortex. I forgot that a simple cup of tea, a good book and some alone time was exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries. To take Fika, to take a moment to see the beauty in the simplest of things is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourself. I challenge you all this week, pop the kettle on, leave your phone in the other room, sit back, and take a moment to breathe in wherever you are and just BE. Be present in wherever it is you have landed, sip on your tea without distraction, and appreciate all that you have done to get you to that exact moment. Because you really have achieved SO much to get to that very point, and you should be so proud
