25.01.2022 I ran another print test on my Delta printer using a glass bed and the Magigoo PP glue, take note had a minor warp approx 1mm of warp but in all a successful print, take note, no brim has been used as this is not required with Filamax PP filament formulation. I even have a timelapse print, I do apologise for the out of focus camera, still adjusting it.

25.01.2022 After receiving updated software to control the ProtoCycler that my investor paid for, I have been able to make a run of filament, and find the test print made with this filament.

20.01.2022 Decided to use Makers Muse Warpinator test to see how bad the warping is and you can see how it faired in the pics

20.01.2022 Had some success tonight, after numerous set backs, I have got the extruder running, now I have to get the pull down section working

20.01.2022 Finally have the cooling bath assembled, just waiting for the silicon sealer and glue to go off and I can commence water leak testing, but I got all the joins so should be good, had to wait for 4 weeks for Delway Brass to anodise the aluminium such an unnecessary amount of time to do anodising

13.01.2022 So the extruder construction is well under way, having to 3D print a number of parts, but the more critical parts are being CNC machined, a number are currently at the local electroplater I’ve got the mother of all wiring jobs in the electronics housing. I still have to rebuild the puller, and build the winder. So watch this space

11.01.2022 Things are still happening with Filamax sorry there has been no updates we are trying to make it to the next stage, we are looking for investors to proceed further if you believe you can be of help, by all means please get in contact with us.

08.01.2022 Well as an update thanks to the government stimulus I have been able to afford to build my production filament extruder as I can not find a manufacturer for my filament so just waiting for parts to come in, I’ll start a build log as I go along.

04.01.2022 So construction of the extruder is going along quite well, the main structure is nearly finished will post a photo update in the morning, Now working on the housings for the controls and electronics. And begin working on the cooling bath, and spooling equipment, the design basically spools to a large bulk roll and this is decanted to smaller rolls as orders come in. Even custom size orders are available.
