19.01.2022 Filby's Motors is pleased to announce that the next recipient of our yearly donation program is BOWEN MEN'S SHED! Each year, for every vehicle sold, Filby's Motors puts aside a small donation, and at the end of the period, a substantial donation (several thousand, depending on number of vehicles sold) is made to a local grassroots community organisation. Bowen Men's Shed has been selected by the Filby Family as the latest recipient to receive this donation in July 2021.... Founded in 2012, the Bowen Men’s Shed is a place where men of all ages can come together to work on projects, learn about men’s health and issues, and meet others for a chat, support or a bit of reminiscing. We remain open, and are maintaining normal operating hours at both dealerships.... Mechanical workshop and vehicle sales facilities such as ours are not impacted by the stage 1 Covid19 closures (affecting mainly hospitality, sporting and church venues), and The Australia Automotive Dealer Association secretariat has commenced the process of asking all State Governments to consider the Service/Repair Department and Parts Departments of Dealerships as an essential service, allowing our dealerships to remain open.
