25.01.2022 Happy Sabbath all! Continuing from our last Sabbath’s sermon on the topic of mountain top experience from the book of Matthew. What does this mountain of experience mean in understanding Jesus Christ being the centre of your life? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yaZQzVABnaQ

25.01.2022 A very happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! This Sabbath, our divine service program focused on honouring the importance of all the dads, future dads, and male mentors/role models of our church. We all know that nothing can separate the children from the love of their father. The topic of our message this Sabbath highlights on some of the key points on what it means to be a Godly Father. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

24.01.2022 Continuing on with our series of "The Mountain Tops" from two Sabbaths ago, Pastor Adam Schulz talked about The Mount of Olives, which relates to the idea of the coming of Messiah. "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" Hosanna in the highest heaven!" These are the words uttered by a very large crowd in anticipation of the coming of Messiah, found in the book of Matthew. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?" The question to us now is, are we the people who really understand the character of Jesus? How truly do we know Jesus? How do we prepare for the second coming of Jesus Christ?

24.01.2022 A friendly reminder that, as part of our Easter break celebration, we will be holding a combined service this coming Sabbath with the Fremantle SDA Church. The address is 10 Cleopatra St, Palmyra. We will also be having our pot luck lunch there so please bring your yummy food. We look forward to seeing you all there and to hearing the FIF Church Choir share with us their singing talent as we continue to fellowship with one another, all to God's glory. God bless.

23.01.2022 What a special night! On 11/09/2020, Pastor Adam and Pastor Max were ordained at Bickley SDA Church. Thank you for all who came along and for those who viewed the livestream; it was amazing to see the impact and relationships these two men have made in our churches here in WA May God continue to bless you in your ministry

23.01.2022 Today's message by Pastor Adam Schulz on the topic of "Mountain of Compassion" from the Book of Matthew. There is only one person who has never broken a promise, and will never break a promise. That is, Jesus Christ our Saviour! The Jews saw the promise of God in Mount Zion. Did Jesus complete his mission to restore the people of the lost sheep of Israel? Jesus' mission is not exclusive, it is inclusive. What can we learn from what Jesus did in terms of being more inclusive of people? Compassion is when you look at someone in a way that you want to make a difference in that person's life. Jesus touched people's lives through His mountain of compassion. If we do not have compassion, are we reflecting the character of Jesus?

22.01.2022 Last Sabbath afternoon, @lucydessington , WA’s Growing Together leader, led us in alistening workshop. A listening workshop? we hear you ask. You read that correctly! To grow as an intergenerational church, being able to listen is as important as being able to have a conversation. You need to be able to listen WITH compassion, intentionality, and empathy. You need to be able to listen WITHOUT interruptions, judgements, and self-righteousness. Sometimes to listen we need to ask Tell me more. Three simple words that can lead into a beautiful, trusting relationship between generations. Thanks again Lucy for this awesome workshop!

21.01.2022 This Sabbath we started with a Sabbath School about evangelism thanks to Bro. Filan. Then, we had our young teens (plus a toddler!) do a special item along with a sermon from one of our seasoned members, Doc Alvin. Talk about intergenerational!!

20.01.2022 We had a special Mother’s Day surprise for our FIF mums as part of our vesper program last Friday! As "Pitra the clown" drove around the different metro areas to drop an envelope in to our FIF mum's mailbox, we documented the journey to create this Mother's Day video. Happy Mothers Day to all our amazing mothers! From your FIF CHURCH FAMILY A big thank you to our Men’s, Health and Sabbath School Ministries for your work on this video

19.01.2022 Please join us for worship this Sabbath on our church livestream! Click the link below to join. God bless and happy Sabbath - https://youtu.be/GoYk-ZPXY0Y

17.01.2022 What a blessing to listen to Pastor Willie Mauga's sermon this Sabbath morning in our divine worship. He gave three important things that Jesus would undo in our lives in order to bring glory to Him. 1. Jesus would undo pride and replace it with humility. What is one area in your life where you can empty pride and replace it with humility? Luke 18:9-14 says, "9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 ...Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other peoplerobbers, evildoers, adulterersor even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ 13 But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ 14 I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. 2. Jesus would undo judging others and replace it with loving others. Do you have someone you are judging that you have not taken the time to listen to their story in order to get to know them? Matthew 7:1-6 says, Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.3 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 6 Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces". 3. Jesus would undo fear and replace it with courage. We are living through fearful times - COVID19 has not helped. One of the greatest stories that talks about overcoming fear and replaced it with courage is found in 2 Kings 6:8-23 in which Elisha traps blinded Arameans. Whatever fear that is holding us back from reaching our full potential and taking action, God is saying that He would take our fear away because He is on our side. The devil comes only to destroy us but, through the power of Jesus, we are able to replace our fear with courage. IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?

16.01.2022 Hello FIFC Family, Unfortunately we will NOT have church tomorrow due to the COVID 3-day lockdown. Please stay safe and take this time to be with your families. Feel free to tune into the WA Conference Easter live stream on their YouTube page and watch some amazing sermons there. We pray that it will all be contained after the lockdown. God bless!

14.01.2022 An Impromptu Sabbath Special Item, "I'm a Child of the King", delivered by some of the women of FIF, as part of our Father's Day program.

13.01.2022 Continuing on from last week on the topic of "Mountains in Matthew", our sermon by Pastor Adam this morning focused on the Mountain of Transfiguration, which talks about the idea of no pain no gain. It is ironic that suffering is the path to glory! Romans 12 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61WWwiIPIfA

11.01.2022 BAPTISM SERVICE: Please join in witnessing the baptism service of so many lives, tomorrow at 2pm in Victoria Park SDA Church. It will be a real blessing to see 17 people in total from our church plants and bible study group willing to accept Jesus and begin a new life. See you all there!

11.01.2022 A surprise Mother’s Day video message that was put together by our Youth Group for our FIFC mothers. Mothers are special gifts and as Proverbs 31:25-28 says, "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness". Here's our youth's response when asked about what makes their mum special.

09.01.2022 Our final 3rd quarter Sabbath School lesson #13, A Step in Faith, concluded with a panel discussion. Memory text: Philippians 2:57 "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men"

09.01.2022 Thank you Pr. Jorge Munoz, President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia for your wise words. Let us continue to pray together!

06.01.2022 Happy Sabbath all! Climbing up the mountain through the experience of Moses by Pastor Adam Shulz. First sermon post pandemic lockdown. What can we learn from our mountain top experience?

06.01.2022 Face-to-face church is making a comeback! It has been a very long past few months worshipping over Zoom and other means, but we are very excited to finally do fellowship together. We will be putting a lot of measures into place that will ensure we are being hygienic and safe, so please respect these extra rules. May God continue to be with us. Can’t wait to see you there!

03.01.2022 A special Father's Day video presentation with a personal message from each of our youth to their dads. Music: Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin & With You By Jamie Grace

03.01.2022 The note for today is specifically saved for the Awesome Mothers out there. Why the day after? Yesterday, we are sure, there was a flurry of greetings left right and centre for mothers. We don’t want to compete with those well-meaning people sending mothers' greetings. We just want the dust to settle down. All of us has been the direct result, literally and wholistically, by our mother’s influence over us. Mothers do their best, not only to TELL US but to SHOW us what God is ...like, in spite of their imperfection. Their Caress, Care, and Concern for us - from the womb to the tomb- is a sliver of light in this dark world in order for us to have a glimpse of what God looks like! Thanks God for our mothers and all the mothers out there. This world is always a better place because of the wonderful Mothers! The journey continues. Be encouraged See more
