17.01.2022 The Filipino Student Council of NSW calls for your support for our typhoon-affected brethrens in Bicol, Philippines. We highly support this initiative and we hope that you may also help in any way you can. Here are the details of the poster: We Bicolanos are known for our resilience but we need to seek more tangible help in order to overcome loss and courage to face uncertainty. We are grateful to see that the "bayanihan" spirit is still very evident as shown in the many do...nation drives and outpouring distribution of various goods coming from the different sectors. So why this drive? The damage is too much to bear and there are just so many people needing help. So me (Zam) together with my friends have heeded the call of some generous and kind-hearted people, (here and abroad) for a donation drive that will focus on helping typhoon victims jumpstart in building their houses or small businesses such as "sari-sari" stores, vulcanizing shops, etc. This is voluntary so any amount you share is deeply appreciated and we will make sure that every centavo will be fully accounted for. An acknowledgement receipt will be issued to the donor. Like this FB page so you can be updated of the donation drive. We shall keep you posted for transparency.
