The Australian Philippine Business Council and Gawad Kalinga Australia (APBC- GKA) has launched a relief program wherein Filipino International Students from TAFE, colleges, vocational schools or other non-university tertiary institutions to receive $100 grocery vouchers to ease the difficulties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. APBC-GKA has partnered with ANU Filipino Association - ANUFA (ANUFA), Adelaide University Filipino Club - AUFC (AUFC), Filipino Student Council of New South Wales (FSC-NSW), Queensland Filipino Youth Association (QLD FYA), Filipino Student Society Tasmania (FSST) and the Filipino-Australian Student Council of Victoria (FASTCO) for this project. As a student-based organisation, we know all too well what these adverse effects feel like.
