06.01.2022 It has been heartwarming to read that People from around the world have donated in excess of 11 million dollars to WIRES to assist in the rescue, care and rehab...ilitation of wildlife impacted by the fires in NSW. I’m sure I speak on behalf of all Australians to say thank you .To my friends near and far please know the fires have also had a devastating impact on Victorian wildlife and animals, donations to Wildlife Victoria sit at around 1 million dollars last time I checked, please know they are also in desperate need of support. Unfortunately donations to wires cannot be used to fund the care of Victorian wildlife. 01.01.2022 Meet the Pro - Sarah Rawson-Harris Samaria, Victoria Film Animals Australia Sarah has achieved 20 yrs training & supplying horses & animals for the Film & Tel...evision industry. Drawing from her experience coaching actors/stunt actors to ride and work with horses & other animals, Sarah also coaches beginner & non pro reiners offering continued support throughout their journey. Along with training reining horses, Sarah specializes in ground work clinics for all types of horses, particularly horses that are difficult to handle, load or exhibit other unwanted behaviour’s. Conveniently situated in Samaria via Benalla in Northern Victoria. Why do you love Reining? The sport offers a great environment for beginners right through to experienced trainers to share their knowledge and support one another, the end goal for everyone is the same - to ride and show really nice horses. Favourite Manuever? Spins, always gives me goosebumps when I feel the babies start to ‘hunt the spin’ and offer a little speed after they learn how to step around. Current Horses? I have too many to list, from my reining prospects/show horse(s) to my film horses including a gorgeous Lusitano mare. What do you bring to RTA Clinics? All round horsemanship from the ground up. Teaching beginner reiners & non pros the basics and encouraging them to take the first step into the showpen. Giving back to the sport... Sponsorship of many events over the past 4yrs.
