13.01.2022 - The Calm - Just a funny little note on the crazy little whirlwind adventure that resulted in this image. Last Saturday w...hen Sarah & Regan tied the knot at @estatetuscany, it was a Grey Out- complete cloud coverage all day. To be honest we were all pretty ok with that- it wasn't raining, the temp was nice, light was soft, and man did we have some fun. Back to the reception to kick off the party, drinks were flowing, food was served, folks were mingling, all was well. AND THEN A quick glance outside saw a glimmer or warm fuzzy light. What? A break in the clouds- a possible sunset? We grabbed Sarah & Regan and ran outside, at which point we knew we needed to get up the hill. @Filmedbyandy to the rescue as we all crammed into his little Mazda. "GOGOGO!!!" A spin of the tyres, a spray of gravel, and we were off, and as we headed toward the sunset we knew: this was a really fricken good idea. They jumped out and soaked up those magical golden rays, and watched as the sun officially set on their epic wedding day. Thanks for trusting us guys!! 03.01.2022 STYLED SHOOT - An alternative approach to photographing Newcastle. Our shoot was styled around utilising some of the less obvious, not as refined parts of Newcastle, but shot in a way that showed off just what these raw and somewhat gritty locations have to offer.
