22.01.2022 Further to our previous message to our customers and friends, In light of the latest announcement from the Government which we totally support, we would like to let you all know that Filoxenia Restaurant will be open for Take-Away and for our loyal customers even Home Delivery(if its necessary) will be offered during this time of crisis. Further to this, in appreciation for your support and to allow us to continue operating we will also be offering a 20% discount on both ser...vices effective today from 12.00pm. (You can view the Menu on our Website or Facebook). *This discount is not valid with any other voucher/discount. Please also note that we are making a temporary change to our operating hours. As you already know our Restaurant as a family business always operates with the highest hygiene standarts. Of cource due to the current situation everything in our place has and will continue being sanitased. There is also sanitaser for your own use.... 22.01.2022 We are Happy to announce,that our Restaurant "FILOXENIA" in North Hobart,will OPEN now also for BRUNCH, Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. At 5.30 pm will start our Dinner as always.

21.01.2022 Reviewed by creativecrew 3 Jan 2020 A memorable dinner with great food and a wonderful family running everything!... Enjoyed delicious Tasmanian Salmon and the Greek Lamb dish. Everything was superb! The seasoning was spot on! The salmon was the delicious- tender and fresh. Salmon from this region is the purest since it is pulled from some of the cleanest water on earth. We were served by the delightful older daughter. Dad told us their story of the family coming over from Greece and settling here. It is wonderful to see a family work together and be so proud of what they have accomplished. Truly one of the best meals we had in Tasmania! 18.01.2022 Laurel Parnham 3 Our family of 5 went last night; none of us had been there b4 so had no idea of what to expect, except Greek food. It was absolutely Fantastic and would definitely be going back soon to try another dish. The father and daughter were excellent hosts; we asked for their recommendations and the father was informative, helpful and an all round great person. The daughter was polite and helpful. After this critical period of 2 months they allow us to OPEN again with a small number of customers.With all due respect to the regulations we are happy to do so and love to see you again. 16.01.2022 Brittany Beaty We came to Filoxenia for a birthday meal and it was one to remember! Not only was the food amazing but the service was out of this world! The host went above and beyond to make our meal special. The Greek wine was also a very nice touch. We will be coming back here soon and recommending it to anyone who will listen! Thank you for incredible food and a superb atmosphere!

13.01.2022 There is Love in the Making of this Food You could be forgiven thinking that you were experiencing wonderful home cooking at this restaurant. The food is authentic and is of excellent quality but there is a difference that comes through if someone in the kitchen where commercial techniques are combined with traditions learnt in a home kitchen. It was a pleasure to enjoy the traditional Greek food which was further enhanced with the very friendly service of the staff making it... a true family business.
