25.01.2022 To administer to the best of my skill and ability until the next regular period of election within the lodge and until a successor shall have been duly elected and installed in my stead.

25.01.2022 Good men promise little and perform much. Just to be, is a blessing. Just to live, is holy, don’t forget to exercise your right of suffrage.

25.01.2022 I've learned one thing it is to always put your best foot forward

20.01.2022 Good men promise little and perform much. Wicked men promise much and perform nothing. Just to be, is a blessing. Just to live, is holy.

18.01.2022 After 21 incredible years, I have finished working at the Filipino Australian community. I commenced as Chairperson of the Philippine Princess after being a volunteer for one year, delivering a range of fund raising projects to fully pay the property at 93 Cowper Street Footscray the community purchased. By this exemplary conduct I received a meritorious award for excellence in multi cultural affairs by the state government under Premier Steve Bracks.... In just one years I transitioned to be the Vice Chairperson of the management committee and overseeing the Philippine Princess Quest the fund raising arms of the not for profit organisation, Philippine Community Council of Victoria Inc. I tried to cultivate an empathetic, supportive & agile culture as there were constant organisational transformation whilst the projects fund raising the being delivered. Two achievements Im proud of are the paying off the establishment at 93 Cowper Street, Footscray, purchases of four brand new vehicles for the use of the elderly & the implementation of the volunteers recognition by Centrelink as legitimate work for the dole program. Its quite an unusual feeling doing nothing during the COVID19 pandemic. My sincerest thank you to all the Filipino Australian community who have been working tirelessly to increase capacity & deliver uncompromised age health care to the community. I've decided to take the next step in my professional journey by joining the local politics. I'm excited for the opportunities & challenges that await.

17.01.2022 My thoughts are with you all during this challenging times as we continue to remain connected, I feel you. As you are doubtless aware Im standing for the local council election with no other compelling reason but to serve and make a difference in our diverse and vibrant community and give back to the country that shaped me. To be worthy of the name, I will be there when it matters most. ... I will act for the well-being of the community advocating the RU okey awareness about stress, anxiety, depression. Im committed to free family therapists counselling and practical skills for enriching life policy. A fair go for newly arrived migrants and refugees. Local jobs first policy, social and economic inclusion policy. This may seem like a small gesture but I believe that the smallest things can have a positive effect to live the moment, laugh every day and love beyond words. I lived in Kingsville for 24 years, my passion and commitment in community service commenced 21 years ago, when I Initiated as chairperson the fundraising and paying off, the only Filipino Australian property in Footscray and received a meritorious award for excellence in multi cultural affairs. Sincerity and competence are my virtues, l belong to a society of men who prize honour and virtue above the external advantages of rank and fortune. It instructed me to the active principles of universal beneficence and charity, to seek the solace of my own distress by extending relief and consolation to my fellow man in the hour of their affliction. Above all it taught me to bend with humility and resignation to the will of God. In this sense know that your votes matters to me, and if I cannot reach you with my arms, Ill just hug you with my prayers.

16.01.2022 The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

15.01.2022 Update. We have a road map but the state government support scheme must be extended. On Sunday, the Victorian Premier announced a road map to reopening the Victorian economy in a staged and safe way. Unfortunately, the re-opening of theatres, cinemas, entertainment and sporting venues in Victoria is still some way off. ... My union is working with the government to clarify the road map to reopening of public sector venues over the coming months. While these measures will have a continuing detrimental impact on the livelihoods of thousands of Union members, public health and safety must be top priority. Let's get to 1000 signatures on our petition by Friday! The Victorian Government IR framework and income subsidy scheme is due to conclude in less than three weeks. My delegates have written to the Treasurer to request that the scheme be extended. We have also launched a public petition calling for ongoing support for our state government arts and entertainment venues. All members came together and agreed they would need to get at least 1000 signatures on this petition for the government to take the campaign seriously. The petition is currently on about 600 signatures, and our goal is to reach 1000 by this Friday, September 11. If you havent already, please show your support and share with your colleagues, friends and family thanks.

11.01.2022 As imprinted indelibly in my heart the sacred dictates of truth, of honour and of virtue.

11.01.2022 I migrated to Australia 24 years ago and it is probably the best thing to have happened in my life. It was initially hard to digest the abundance of resources in this country, the world class infrastructure, the laid back life style, a work culture that is strict on work-life balance and a society that is so civilised. It depends on your general outlook towards life as well. If you are a person who enjoys being in the comfort zone, don't want to have anything unpredictable in... life, and live the life everyday the same way you have been leading for the past years OR if your sole purpose to migrate to a different country to save money and return back, may be you will not enjoy your stay here. On the contrary, if you want to have new experiences in life, travel to exotic locations with least no effort, willing to experience a different culture and learn from it and adapt to a totally different lifestyle (much relaxed and higher quality), then you will love Australia. Having said that, it is getting tougher to get the Visa nowadays and also how easily you can land a job depends on the domain you are working in. So do your research in this regard. And you will miss your family back home. Apart from these, if you are talking about just the quality of life, it is not even a comparison.

11.01.2022 Mercy Health acknowledges R U OK Day? today to help raise awareness of mental health and the prevention of suicide. This is especially poignant as we continue to face challenges in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect this has had on the lives of ourselves, our families, our friends and colleagues as well as our workplaces. It's hard to know what to say if someone tells you they aren't ok. Listening to their concerns, encouraging them to take action and checking-i...n regularly after your chat are three great places to start. After today, keep the conversation going and make each day a good day to check in. A conversation could change a life.

10.01.2022 Time Out has released its annual list of the world’s 40 coolest neighbourhoods, determined by a survey of more than 38,000 people. This year, 5th best in the neighbourhood in the inner-west is Yarraville. Yarraville came in at number five on the list, beaten by Esquerra de l’Eixample in Barcelona in first place, Downtown LA in second position, Hong Kong’s Sham Shui Po and New York’s Bedford-Stuyvesant.... Over the last 20 years people now realised that, being so close to the CBD, it’s an interesting place to live.

09.01.2022 From the day I resigned from The Filipino Community Council of Victoria Inc. This marks an end of a chapter for me and for the fundraising. Whilst I will continue to remain a lifetime member the amazing journey ends here.... When I took the helm, we had a huge debts and no revenue, but we had an amazing talented social support staffs. Today, we are the only Filipino not for profit community organisation in Australia that owns a property in Footscray Melbourne Australia, also we are now receiving close to a million funding grants from the Department of Human Services, From just 2 paid employees I have created some extremely exciting partnerships with the local Filipino volunteers. I could not be more proud of the operational team I leave behind and, above all, the incredible capabilities we have built together. The biggest honour, of course, was being recognised by the state government and received a meritorious award for excellence in multi cultural affairs which reflects my commitment and passionate efforts. After my first break in more than 20 years of community service I will be exploring opportunities in politics and would welcome conversations. I am also available to consult in the short term and assist with Migration issues growth, transformation and practical skills for enriching life. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey.

05.01.2022 Maribyrnong Local Council Election October 2020. Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.

01.01.2022 Campaign ready

01.01.2022 Please be advised that my FB page or chat page is like our home where we live in harmony and everyone is welcome to express ideas, in accord with or contrary to those of others. It is a lively and happy market place of ideas. Like a real home, there are rules on decorum to promote respectful and healthy relations. We must not use foul, denigrating and condescending language. We must stick to the topic at hand. We must treat everyone with respect, even those who espouse contra...ry views. No one has a monopoly of intelligence, good intentions or love of country. I saw this quote in the home of a friend, "Everyone who enters my home brings joy, some when they arrive, others when they leave." Please be the former by complying with the simple rules on decorum, otherwise I will have to tell you, "I am happy you are out of my life. I hate to see you go but have a good time. Good riddance."

01.01.2022 I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
