21.01.2022 New padding as fitted to a high capacity sheet ironer at a commercial laundry in NSW. The new padding ensures even pressure and contact of the sheets to the ironing surface, resulting in even drying and a quality appearance to the final product. This high quality Teflex padding has both Nomex and Teflon fibres, resulting in a longer lasting product, reduced load on the machinery, lower Wax usage and the padding will remain cleaner for longer. Old padding results in poor... quality finishing, risk of damaged to springs and ironer beds, sheets coming out wet and ultimately unhappy customers. Leaving padding changes until the last minute is like only changing your car tires when you see all the thread has gone. You may get away with it but when it goes wrong it goes really wrong. 17.01.2022 Another small belt ironer with a full new set of drying belts and lagging. With the rise in Air B&B and regional tourism these small ironer in laundries, Hotels and Motels have never worked so hard. It can sometimes be hard to even see the conditions of these belts but it should be high priority for any operator because one of these machines going down because of broken or worn belts can cause serious problems and backlogs. 01.01.2022 Our Reps have been busy recently with a flurry of work on belt Ironers. These smaller ironers often used where space is at a premium like Hotel laundries (OPLs) can produce beautifully ironed sheets when the belts are kept in good condition.
