25.01.2022 A little while ago we headed out to Valley View Manor for the wedding of Christy & Dean. Georgina from GTM Celebrant delivered the ceremony and then helped out with the photography. This wedding was different to normal due to a number of reasons, but the main reason was the bride coming in on a horse and then us capturing lots of photos of her in her wedding dress riding around. Dean and Christy we hope your life together is wonderful and full of love. Here are a number of photos, a few more than I normally post, of their day. 25.01.2022 Last November we headed off to Modella for the wedding of Madeline and Thomas at Madeline's family's farm/horse stud. The weather was looking a bit average in the morning but the rain held off and the day turned to out to get a bit warm (yes I got sun burnt again) later in the day. We had a great time with everyone and got some amazing photos as the sun went down. One of the highlights of the day was Madeline's sister singing as Madeline came down the isle and again for the first dance. Georgina was the celebrant and helped with the family and friends photos after the ceremony. Madeline and Thomas we hope you love the photos and that you life together is full of love and laughter. 23.01.2022 So earlier this year, when the bushfires had just got nasty, we quickly photographed and delivered an elopement wedding ceremony for Greg and Min out at Valley View Manor. Georgina from GTM Celebrant was the celebrant and assistant photographer, which is the way, when we are working together at the same wedding. It was hot and we had to deal with some smoke, but we got through it and captured some great images. As per normal, Valley View Manor (Jen your amazing) was looking fantastic. 21.01.2022 With the pandemic some what under control, our wedding session is starting again. We have numerous postponed weddings from 2020 about to take place, so thought it was time to start sharing some photos from the few small weddings, with limited numbers that we undertook in 2020. One of these weddings was local, out at the beautiful Valley View Manor for the wedding of Desiree and Neil. The weather was average but the new outdoor under roof area made it possible for us to be outside. Desiree and Neil, we hope your life together will be full of love and enjoyment. 21.01.2022 A little while ago we got to photograph the renewal of vows for Leanne and Rob out at their property. Georgina from GTM Celebrant undertook the ceremony and then helped with the photos. It was a small intimate renewal with their children, extended family and friends. 35 years together is an amazing feat. We hope that you both have another 35 years together. 20.01.2022 In February we delivered and photographed the wedding of one of Georgina's friends, Lisa to Shane out at Callignee Hall under the shade of the big tree. We had a great time and i got to meet some of Georgina's work friends and we even ran into 2 x couples Georgina had previously married plus some of our mutual friends. Lisa and Shane, thanks for having us at your wedding and reception. We hope your life together will be full of love and laughter. Here are a few photos from the day.

19.01.2022 A couple of months ago we headed off to Phillip Island for the wedding of Ellie & David. The weather was against us for the day but we were able to get the ceremony in and then spend a while taking cover and then outside for more photos. Georgina from GTM Celebrant delivered the ceremony and picked up a camera to help out. We got some great photos especially those at the beach just after we got caught in a small hail storm. Anyway, Ellie and David, it was great to be apart of your day, meeting your bridal party, family and friends and for us to catch up to some friends we knew at your wedding as well. 19.01.2022 Early November we delivered and photographed the wedding of Amy and Lee. Georgina was the celebrant (GTM Celebrant) and then helped with a few of the photos. The wedding was held at the Moe Golf Club and guess what, it was raining again. That didn't dampen (see what i did there) our spirits and we still were able to have Amy and Lee get married outside, even if it was under cover. After the ceremony we headed out in golf carts and got some awesome photos even if the rain came... back. After an awesome lunch (thanks I loved it) we headed out again and got the final photos that Amy wanted. If you look at my banner you will see one that we took. Amy really had some great ideas that we captured. It was great to catch up with some of our baseball friends that were invited, but more importantly we got to meet Amy and Lee's amazing family and friends and we had lots of fun and my dad jokes were flying. 18.01.2022 A few months ago we headed off for the wedding of Jade and Ant down at Walkerville. It was a small and intimate wedding with their close family and friends. 17.01.2022 Again, a little while back we had another rainy day. This time it was for the wedding of Kellie & Brad out at one of the best garden/reception venues in Gippsland, Valley View Manor. Kellie wanted to get married outside so after some heavy rain and hail, Kellie and Brad finally got married by Georgina from GTM Celebrant under umbrellas. We ended up inside for the signing and the family photos as the heavens opened up again. All I can say is thank god, Jen from Valley View Manor has an area within the reception area that we could do this. The rain finally lifted and we got outside for the personal and bridal photos. We had a great time with Kellie & Brad, their bridal party and family and friends. We wish Kellie and Brad and their family all the best for their future together. You will see by the photos just how much fun we had.

16.01.2022 We had a new experience when we photographed the wedding of Marcela and Paul at Wilsons Prom. We started at Yanakie for the prep, then drove to Port Welshpool to hope on the carter boat with Wildlife Coast Cruises to Refuse Cove. We photographed on the way out and then arrived at one of the most amazing spots I have ever photographed. We had an amazing time with Marcela and Paul and their family and close friends. We even got to have live music and dancing on the cruise. Geor...gina delivered the ceremony and helped with the photos. I have added a few more photos than normal for you to look at, just because of the location and hopefully you will see how much fun we had and the love generated by these amazing people. 11.01.2022 Wedding session is off to a very busy start. A little while ago we photographed the wedding of Emma and David at Parnassus out the back of Drouin/Warragul. We had a great time with Emma, David, their bridal party, family and friends. Attached are a few photos from the day. 10.01.2022 Well it looks like from the 22nd November we can have outdoor weddings for up to 100 people. Bring it on. Up until then, we can have the couple, celebrant, photographer and 10 guests. Looks like we are heading in the right direction and we cannot wait to see all our couples again and take some photos (missing it so much) and celebrate the happiness and joy of weddings.

09.01.2022 This is what came in the mail yesterday. Again thank you so much to everyone that voted for us. Like to think as there was no breakdown what number we came in the top ten that we at least came in third. Even better Georgina placed in the top 10 as well. Sorry to the other photographers and celebrants who made the top 10 who might be thinking the same. LOL. Not bad for an industry that has numerous celebrants and photographers within the Gippsland region.

08.01.2022 A little while ago we headed off to Emerald for the wedding of Jo & Leigh. The weather was against us but we just did what had to be done to capture the best photos we could. We had a ball and the bridal party didn't care if they got wet to just get some outdoor photos. We took some amazing personal photos which i will leave up to Jo & Leigh to post if they want but attached are some others we took showing the fun we had. Georgina from GTM Celebrant delivered the ceremony (got to love a husband and wife team) and then helped me with taking extra photos. All the best for your future together Jo & Leigh. 07.01.2022 Surprise, Surprise. We had a another rainy day. This time for the wedding of Aimee & John a little while back. It was so wet that this was the first time ever I have been unable to get outside for even one photo. We made do with what we could but still got some great photos. This time we had the wedding at the Traralgon West Sports Complex which was great for a small intimate wedding. Aimee and John thanks for having Georgina and I officiate and photograph your wedding. We hope that you and your family have a great life together.

04.01.2022 Wow. We have finally finished the development of our website and its up and running. Its been a long time coming. Please have a look at www.finallyhitchedweddingphotography.com . For our couples, who we have had the privilege of capturing over the last few years, you may see a photo or two from your wedding on there. We hope as we continue to develop the website to change photos around especially the header photos. So if you have a favorite photo that you would love us to show, then send us a message and we will place it on the website. 02.01.2022 Hello everyone. Its been a while and we hope you have all been keeping safe and sane? With restrictions starting to ease, I thought it would be good to show some of the photos from weddings earlier this year. These will come through over the next few weeks so keep an eye out. Its been an interesting time and we have helped couples to change dates to either later this year or next year so they can celebrate their wedding with those that mean the most to them. We are really l...ooking forward in getting back into what we love and hope to see and photograph weddings very shortly. I can tell you, its felt really weird not to be taking photos and spending hours behind the computer editing. It hasn't been all doom and gloom, its given me time to undertake further education to develop my skills even further which we can use moving forward. Also exciting for us, is that we have a website on its way. We are just putting the final touches to it. With much more time on our hands over the last few months, this has given us the time to dedicate to the websites development. Who knows, maybe you might see a photo from your wedding on there. So from us, continue to keep safe. 02.01.2022 So you may have seen but Finally Hitched Wedding Photography was nominated as a finalist in the Brides Choice Award. We are excited to announce that we finished in the top 10 for Wedding Photographers for Gippsland and Phillip Island. I have to say that when we saw the massive list of photographers we didn't think we had a chance, especially against some that I follow and look up to. I was really surprised to see where we finished up and those that we finished ahead of. Sorry... I am not trying to put anyone down, we are just excited. We only seriously started advertising our services a couple of years ago, so we are shocked at where we are. A big thank you to all the couples that nominated us for this award. It does show us that you do really love our photos and what we do. Better still Georgina made the top 10 Celebrants as well. Again the list of nominated celebrants was massive, so to be in the top 10 is fantastic and she does appreciate the support our couples made in nominating her as well. While the awards don't show an exact finishing spot but to say top 10, we are forever grateful. Again thankyou to all for nominating us.
