07.01.2022 False: Late payments don’t matter . With the introduction of comprehensive credit reporting over the last 12 months, lenders can now see it all, the GOOD the BAD and the UGLY . Upon submission of a home loan application the lender will have access to a report which shows the characteristics of your borrowing behaviour over the previous years... . This report details a month to month repayment summary, explaining when a payment or missed payment has occurred and for how long . I know we have discussed what support is available for mortgages but I also what to highlight how important it is that you don’t fall behind in any other liabilities . 07.01.2022 Good News Story . As I called my client with some cheek in my voice I made the statement, I forgot to ask you one last question.....are you ready to celebrate?? We have UNCONDITIONAL APPROVAL I think both of us were nearly in tears . Let's rewind to get a little perspective, this wasn't your standard application, its almost as complex as it gets... . We are talking million dollar construction over two townhouses with multiple securities and applicants all of varying professions and tenure in employment .
