Delia Rickard, said If you're in financial difficulty, ask for a repayment plan, and the important thing there is to remember is to get a repayment plan that you can actually meet. Ms Rickard flagged consumers should steer clear of for-profit financial advice companies, as the type of support is usually offered for free by financial counsellors.
