25.01.2022 Hey guys, We have had a reported sighting of Reuben at 8am this morning running along the fence at the council land on 7/11 roundabout. We are currently trying to track down the kid who saw him to get more details. He was heading towards bribie direction. Please advise your children to also keep their eyes peeled on the school bus as this was how he was sighted today! Good news is hes alive

25.01.2022 Today while our beautiful community helped search for precious babies we unfortunately found the body of our beautiful Billy the boxer drowned in an open well. To say we are devastated is an understatement. We have lost a part of our family in tragic circumstances. She is now at peace in our back yard and we will create a beautiful flower garden in her memory. Unfortunately we did not find our little Reuben. We will go out tomorrow and re look. A massive thankyou to thos...e who helped today both on the ground and behind the scenes. We will be closing our cafe Annie Lane tomorrow to continue the search and to grieve. 25.01.2022 Today was a massive day with 50 of our beautiful souls who turned up to help search for our little Reuben. We conducted a large search through the area where he was sighted but unfortunately we couldnt get through it all as its just too thick. We had left our kids blankets and food out There but it hasnt been touched. Unfortunately that search ended with nothing. The second search was split up into the area of sightings and the original search area where Billy was found.... We had a lovely lady bring her tracking dog and whilst we didnt find him he did puck up a very strong scent. We feel he may be still in this area. What we can do from here- Keep sharing, even if it seems annoying just share as much as you can every few days. Keep your eyes peeled along bestman rd, bribie island road and the areas between. If you are driving at night drive slow along these areas to see if he is out there. He us only 2 so still a big baby and would be so terrified. If you do see him, slowly drop to the ground and make lip smacking noises. Dont call him. Call Candice 0417787729 or Richard 0450203833 straight away. 23.01.2022 Ok community tomorrow is our last chance to help find Reuben. We will be doing a search at 8.45 in the same area we found Billy deceased hoping he comes back to... that area. This search will be a smaller search and we will conduct a larger search at 2pm in a different area. We really need strength in numbers and preferably pairs as its quite dense and swampy. Please could you let me know if you can help. Also we feel like we are running out of steam and ideas and would welcome anyone who has thoughts and ideas. Meeting place for morning will be Regina avenue Ningi. Afternoon meeting place to be advised. On that note, if Reuben made it out of the bush alive and someone has picked him up we will be offering a huge reward upon his safe return. Please help us in any way you can and share far and wide. 22.01.2022 Would have been the best fathers day ever if we had this guy home This guy was such a baby, he wouldn't even go to the toilet outside if it was raining unless we held an umbrella out for him. He couldn't stand getting his little toes wet! As I listened to it rain all night last night and now today I cant stop thinking about our little man. We don't want him back for our sake, its all about him and his safety. ... Hoping this morning will shed some light on our last reported sighting

22.01.2022 Another sighting which is fantastic as we think he is still in the area. Slightly different spot but still forestry Bribie Island Rd. Frustrating that even with a massive tbone we couldnt get him out but I swear I heard him bark. Any sightings please call 0417787729

21.01.2022 The good news is that yesterday afternoon we were able to confirm that the sighting was Reuben. The sighting was Saturday so he may or may not be in that same area. Please do not enter the bush. I know it may seem like its helping but it only drives him further away. Best we can hope for at the momemt is still for everyone to keep their eyes peeled. This sighting was at 9am so we are hoping he will start venturing out during the day. If you do happen to see Reuben, DO NOT try to catch him. We have moved our cameras and are hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Our little fur baby has been out there for over 5 weeks, I cant believe he is still alive but he is

19.01.2022 Positive sighting again last night. Further towards 7/11 around 8.30. Unfortunately we couldnt get him to come to us. Heading out now for another search.

18.01.2022 Today we have had info on 2 possible sightings. One on the 7/11 side of the road just past the big drain, possible but definitely not 100% sure. (7.30 am) And another today sometime Ningi Esplanade in the mangroves, this one to be followed up with in person tomorrow. Fingers crossed these sightings are him

18.01.2022 Just a little shout out! We are so thankfully for all your efforts. We are so shocked at the amount of caring souls that have helped. As we have now had 3 sightings( last one being very positive) we are going to stop the searches for a bit. I will keep visiting the same space, leaving a trail, food, clothing etc to get him into a habit of coming to his safe space to eat at night. Once he seems to be in a routine we will place a trap. We have a trail camera being set up toda...y. Please please drive slowly along bribie island rd between 7/11 and food works. Especially at night. He is In the forestry there. Please pop my number in your phone under missing frenchie 0417787729 and call me day or night if you spot him. He is terrified and wont come out so please remain quiet and dont approach him. The only other thing we may need is night vision goggles and maybe a heat scensor. Thank you!

18.01.2022 As many of you know our beloved family dogs have been missing since Saturday night. We saw them run off but as it was dark we lost site of where they went. We are surrounded by thick bushland and swamp. Our socials posts have been shared at least 1500 times and not one sighting! After 5 days we feel there is two options. They ran into the scrub and got lost or they have been picked up and stolen. We have searched around 50 acres of bushland but it is extremely dense and there is too much of it for one person to look. We need help, need advice, need man power and a drone if possible. Was thinking of doing a community search through more bush on Saturday morning. Would anyone be interested in helping us out?

15.01.2022 Hello all, We are getting multiple people wanting to search the area this afternoon. Unfortunately I just cannot get myself up to do another search today, Ive barely slept or eaten in a week and the grief my family is going through at the death of our beloved Billy is debilitating. The bush that Billy was found in is super dense, I cant even wrap my head around how or why they were in so deep. If anyone wants to do their own search today I cannot stop you but you would absolutely have to go in pairs and be fully prepared as even I got myself a bit lost.

13.01.2022 No news Unfortunately we have no updates, at this stage we are really relying on sightings. Following his routine he should pop up in the next few nights It will be one month tomorrow since Reuben went missing. So far he is defying the odds and staying alive and we can only pray he keeps fighting until he is found. ... We are not giving up but we are tired. Mentally, physically and emotionally. 11.01.2022 Hey guys, no updates unfortunately. Last sighting was Friday night. Lots of wild dogs on the camera footage. We tried to camp, got all set up about 30 metres in only to find people camping and drinking in the bush. Police have been notified but it was not safe to stay out there.

10.01.2022 A lovely lady has spotted Reuben in forestry near 7/11. She was positive it was him. Weve done a quiet walk and are sitting in the bush silently hoping he will come to us. An hour in and nothing so far. Dont come down as it will only scare him but just keeping you updated. Good news is at this stage he is alive!

09.01.2022 2 possible sightings an hour ago bribie island rd in forestry! We have been looking but if its him he is terrified

09.01.2022 Just a little update, there have been no sightings of Reuben in close to two weeks. Not only is there no sightings but we have also had no footage on cameras or no real evidence to believe he is still in the area. We have received recent information that Reuben was picked up by someone in a dark sedan. This information unfortunately does not coinside with the bush sightings of Reuben and was quite vague in dates ranging through a 3 week period. We do not think Reuben has be...en picked up but if there is any small chance we obviously want to explore this. We please ask, if you have seen or heard anything, have notice your friends or neighbours acquiring a new dog or have seen him in bushland now is the time to come forward! If Reuben is still in the bush he has most likely moved on or has possibly crossed the rainbow bridge. We are absolutely keeping positive but are also not nieve to the time out there for a small dog with foxes and wild dogs. However he could also still be along Bribie Island Rd and we just havent been able to spot him. Trust us, if there is anything to be done we have done it all. 04.01.2022 Edit! Change of time to 3pm as weather is not our friend An event page has been created. We will meet at 5.45am Regina avenue Ningi in the culdersack. Please only attend if you are in good medical condition. Please wear appropriate clothing for wet dense bushland. Charge your phones, bring a back pack. I will provide water and snacks and doggy treats to try attract them.... This event will be weather permitting. Please check the page before heading down as rain is predicted and we may need to change to a 3.45pm start time. Thank you

04.01.2022 Doing a big letterbox drop today in bribie pines. Our video footage from last two nights ( in the new area) has picked up nothing, not even the wild dogs. The last two nights have been out there til midnight and tonight we will be sitting on the roadside for a few hours. I have mixed feelings as to weather he is still in that area but part of me feels he is moving on, perhaps closing to home. 02.01.2022 I will start off by saying that 99% of council, police, emergency services and the public have been amazing in the efforts for helping us find Reuben and deal with the death of Billy. Well today that 1% of pure soulless crap poked their head out from council and attempted to fine us for having a dog trap in the bush. This gentleman did not offer solutions, advice or empathy just threatened us unless we removed them. Without the traps and cameras our search must come to an... end. We thank everyone for the immense hard work and support you have shown. I cannot ever repay you. To the gentleman from council, I hope you feel really good about yourself. To the rest of council, THANK YOU for helping us x

02.01.2022 Unfortunately we didnt have any luck today finding little Reuben. The area near the well did show signs that they had possibly been sleeping there at some stage. Tomorrow is my last chance to go out before we have to return to work. When we get a time we really need as many people as possible and two people to stay together at all times.

02.01.2022 Unfortunately last nights video surveillance revieled it was a large brown dog eating the food we had left out for Reuben. Very disheartening but we will keep trying. We will remove the food, he might be scared of the other dog.

01.01.2022 Change of time-3pm tomorrow! Ok guys so the weather is not being kind to us at all. The area is very swampy so wont work in these conditions. I walked the entire length of bestman rd today searching through scrub about 10 metres in which isnt too thick so might be able to get through it. Only problem is it appears to be private property which isnt ideal as we have no idea who owns it. We have been told this afternoon that a Frenchy was brought into the pound today. Ive ra...ng twice and they say no dogs have come in. Will call again in a minute to see if any updates. If not Ill be there when they open tomorrow. Will continue to post updates as I get them. Im now thinking that perhaps someone has them. To have no sightings in a week with over 2000 shares just doesnt seem right. But we will try to go ahead tomorrow arv and rule out that bush area and hopefully some of the forestry across bribie road
