25.01.2022 Are you looking out for the driftwood? I'm just finishing a 21 day manifesting challenge. 1 technique that I will often use in clinic that came up was the importance of looking out for the little wins. The signs that we are moving forward. Abraham-Hicks calls this driftwood. I saw this on my morning walk the next day. #manifesting #driftwood #lookforthelittlethings #littlewins #moveforward #smallsigns #kinesiology
24.01.2022 Here is some of my story and what lead me to become a kinesiologist. I find this to be true for my clients, whatever their age. When we learn how to deal with our life experience our body can function better. When we are out of balance it can effect our mood, sleep, digestion, pain, energy, confidence, immune system to name just a few. #kinesiology #mystory #lovemyjob #whyidowhatido #stress #balance #mood #sleep #digestion #pain #energy #confidence #immunesystem
24.01.2022 This is from 5 minute therapy by @themindgeek We often do this subconsciously. I think of it like all these extra tabs open on the computer slowing things down. We need to process them so we can shut them otherwise we can be trying to workout were the music is coming from.
24.01.2022 When we are looking at behavior pattern or cycle it's not about finding fault or blame. Instead it is understanding and having a clear picture in order to make a change.
24.01.2022 I've spent the last few weekends adding to my toolkit for working on the lymphatic system. Our lymph system helps to return fluid to the circulatory system, and help rid the body of toxins, waste and unwanted material working with the immune system. This comes up frequently in clinic and impacts general health, constipation, headaches and swelling in the body. It's a very relaxing technique to receive and I'm looking forward to including it in my sessions.
23.01.2022 Last night I went to an amazing sound meditation, but half way through I got lost in my own story. I wanted to move, to reposition myself to give my legs a shake. I got stuck in the detail. Telling myself you can't move, you will disturb other people, this is meditation you are meant to be still, just push through and ignore this sensation. This didn't help me very much. I was no longer present on what was happening in the room. I took a few deep breaths and reminded myself that actually the purpose of the night was to be present not still. So I allowed myself to relax, to move if I needed to, so I could get back to the sound and the reason I was there.
21.01.2022 I love this space. Every time I walk in it brings me joy. I am so grateful to be able to share my passion for kinesiology with the people who honour me by entering this space too.
20.01.2022 A reminder, in case you needed it, we all make mistakes. No one is perfect. If you make a mistake what is one thing you can do to help get back on track.
19.01.2022 Can I trust myself to feel angry? My newsletter will be going out this week talking about our emotions. To sign up for the newsletter click on the website in the bio.
18.01.2022 I'm currently in the middle of a cleanse. This beautifully coloured beetroot juice is a daily part of the program helping to support my liver. After having a stomach bug a few months ago I could feel things were still out of whack. I think the extra stress from everything going on in the world meant my body needed a little extra support to get back to balance. I'm grateful to now have this connection with my body after years of confusion and frustration.

18.01.2022 This seemed very apt for were the world is right now.
17.01.2022 I love a big old door or gate. It makes me want to know what's on the other side. Letting my imagination wander of all the possibilities.
16.01.2022 Agree %with this. Some of the best advice I was given when studying. If you wait until you are 100% confident you will never start. Sometimes we learn the most when we just start.
16.01.2022 We all have thoughts that we would rather not. How much energy and focus we give them is where we have control. #controllingyourthoughts #negativethoughts #innercritic #innervoice #innerdialogue #whatcanyoucontrol #howyourespond #kinesiology #mentalhealth
15.01.2022 Yesterday I had the pleasure of sharing one of my favorite ways to use tapping. As a way to connect with our body. We can be so busy that we often don't stop and acknowledge what is happening in our body. Simply pick a part of the body, close your eyes and place your hands over that part of your body. Take a few breaths. What do you feel? What emotions come to mind, do you see a colour, how does that part of the body feel, relaxed, tight? Do any memorys come to mind? How intense are these feelings? Then moving through the tapping points, repeat out load what you felt. How does it feel to be heard? To just stop for 5 minutes and give your body a voice?
15.01.2022 We don't always need to rush or push through our emotions. It's ok to stop and feel them. To support ourself to move through at a speed that feel comfortable. #emotions #dontfightthefeeling #feelyouremotions #kinesiology
14.01.2022 If you are used to putting other people first it can take some getting used to thinking about what you want and need. It might feel selfish to 'put yourself first'. Which is why I really like this quote. It's not me first it's me too.
14.01.2022 Day off today and this is where you will find me. It's been a busy month and spending time at the beach helps me to switch off. Where do you go to switch off?
13.01.2022 When we want to change a belief, behavior or habit it can feel hard as we may not remember or know what it feels like to be that way. Our brain likes to have a reference point. So try thinking about a skill you have learnt, whether that is a sport, a musical instrument, something academic, cooking, it can be anything. Try and remember how it felt at the beginning, when you were just starting? It probably took some practice, there were probably a few times it didn't go perf...ectly but over time it became easier. Now try and bring that feeling to the change you are wanting to make. It might not change instantly and that's ok. See more
13.01.2022 Kirsty Wirth from Kultured Wellness is a wealth of knowledge on gut health. Our gut health impacts every area of our life, physically, nutritional and mentally. Secure your seat for this fantastic event at the health studio.
12.01.2022 Yesterday I was listening to a 4 hour webinar with @carollook_eft and today a webinar with @janetheclapp and going back over my notes to help review the information. Although different topics both have a similar message about feeling connected with how we are responding to the world around us. Understand that this is just feedback. Learning to validate and acknowledge ourself. It's not right or wrong. We can always choose to look at it from a different angle.
12.01.2022 Sometimes stopping and allowing yourself to fully feel your emotions is a sign of how strong you are. peopleiveloved
10.01.2022 One of my favorite weekly rituals, our farmers market shop. Not only am I fueling my body with beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables (something that I really notice benefits me physically and mentally). It's also a time I spend with Paul, connecting and supporting the local community and spending my money with people who are caring for the land with their growing methods. What are your favorite weekly rituals? #weeklyritual #farmfresh #farmersmarket #weeklyhaul #habits #connection #fuelingmybody #community #shoppinglocal #supportlocal #weekendvibes #howtostarttheweekend
09.01.2022 A weekend spent with an amazing group of people doing what I love, learning the best ways to help people release stress. 08.01.2022 When we are able to look at the past we can decide if the coping mechanisms we used then are still beneficial in the present. If they are not then we have the option to change these and stop reliving the past.

08.01.2022 RESTARTING A HABIT CAN BE HARD. We can feel like we are back at square one. That we have lost all the progress we have made. We might be disappointed or frustrated with ourself for getting out of the habit in the first place. I'm restarting my running habits. I stopped as my routine changed with this gorgeous creature in the background. But I reminded myself the reason I got in to running in the first place, I can do it anywhere at anytime around my changing schedule.... I know in a couple of weeks I will be back to where I was before my pause.
08.01.2022 Yesterday I had mentoring with the gorgeous Elizabeth @yourbodyhastheanswer talking all things parasite. While I was there I stocked up on flower essences. Looking forward to sharing these with you in clinic. #kinesiology #touchforhealth #floweressences #parasites #muscletesting #mentoring #mytribe #learning
07.01.2022 Whether it's a new habit or restarting an old one, make today the day that you start.
04.01.2022 Great image by @theburntoutbrain and so true. Our best is going to change based on so many factors. Some days our best is just being able to accept that and not judge ourself.
04.01.2022 I think we have all done this at some stage. Whether it is pushing through when your busy and body is ready to collapse or ignoring health challenges. We can change this at any point. Simply stop and scan through your body, where is it feeling great and where does it need some support? Our bodies are constantly sending us messages to let us know how things are functioning. Sometimes the message is clear other times is takes a little investigation. ... It's OK if you don't know the answer straight away. See more

02.01.2022 How we word our goals can have a huge impact. So this year think about potential rather than flaws. #newyear #newyearsresolution #goals #goalsetting #potential #flaws #balance #wordsofwisdom #wordsofencouragement
02.01.2022 Lions are considered the king of the jungle but do you know their hunt success rate? 17% if they are alone or 30% if they are in a pack. Remember this next time you feel like you have failed and want to give up.
01.01.2022 Love this by @danaemercer What sort of day would it be? Draining, emotional, hard work, or motivating and supportive? Im not going to lie, my inner dialogue is not perfect but it's a much easier place to be since I have accepted that it's a working progress.
