25.01.2022 This book is great and if you join you get it free.

25.01.2022 If you feel guilty or stressed about eating Easter chocolate, take a calm breath, find some self compassion and come back to the foundation of recovery: regular, stable eating. If you lean towards restricting, choose to eat 3 meals and 3 snacks without restricting. If you lean towards thinking "I've blown it now, might as well keep eating ", remember that's not true. Nothing is blown, or ruined. There's no wagon to fall off.... Remember the recovery graph, how it goes up and down but you make progress over time? Here's a chance to choose recovery after a hiccup.

25.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who has donated a bag for #itsinthebag 2021. 23.01.2022 Move because it feels good, not to earn the right to eat, or to compensate after eating.

22.01.2022 We know that this year has strained everyone, but it's been particularly hard on people with eating disorders and those who support them. This article in The West Australian yesterday highlights the dramatic increase in people seeking help for these disorders in WA, and the blow out in waiting times experienced by every eating disorder service, including us. This is why support is so crucial. This is a big THANK YOU to all the parents, partners and friends who support my... clients in recovery, you are an essential part of the team. Well done to those of us who work in this field, we have done a fantastic job this year in extraordinary, difficult and frankly unbelievable circumstances. And lastly, a HUGE thank you to the colleagues, supervisors and supporters who have kept me going this year, so I could keep going for my clients. #grateful #edrecovery #eatingdisordersperth #edwaitinglists #edservices #finding_balance_psychology

17.01.2022 That's a wrap. I'm now closed until 19th Jan for a well earned break after a huge year. Thank you to all my.clients for being so flexible with the many COVID changes I've had to make to our sessions this year, the Medicare changes, learning to use zoom, and shifting to online payments and rebates. It was great to meet so many of your pets in our zoom sessions, and my cat Oscar zoom bombed most of you. I have a few more changes planned for next year to make the service even better, but for now have a wonderful break, take good care of yourself, and I'll see you next year. #finding_balance_psychology
