03.01.2022 I'm Dan from Pasfield Plumbing, as an MPAQ apprenticeship ambassador 2020 I wanted to reach out to anyone who is, or who knows of someone curious about an apprenticeship. Bit about myself, I grew up local to Beenleigh, I struggled through school and had no idea what I was going to do once I graduated. Starting an apprenticeship in plumbing was tough and there were some really hard moments that made me want to quit. Looking back now I'm thankful I stayed persistent and dedi...cated to invest in my future, in this awesome industry. Now 28, I run two successful plumbing businesses, Pasfield Plumbing & Find Leak Detection with our great team and I never thought I could achieve the goals I have to date and work with the amazing people I get to everyday. My message to anyone thinking of starting an apprenticeship is to stay persistent and invest in yourself. Love what you do, but be prepared to put in the hard yards. Its not easy and probably never will be, but its worth it. After COVID-19 has settled I will be travelling around with #MPAQ to local schools and businesses to show case our trade. My extension on this is to offer anyone local who is interested in the trade to reach out, ask as many questions as you like, Id love to help out in any way possible.
