25.01.2022 Dear Findon Swim School Customers As restrictions around Australia are constantly changing it is a timely reminder for us to continue to be COVID safe here in our lovely state! Remember you do need to check in still and as per the current government requirement, if you don't have it already you’ll need to download the mySA Gov app which contains the QR Code Scanner from https://loom.ly/AIsEQiI... When you arrive, we’ll have the QR code ready for you to scan! If you don’t have a smartphone, then our reception staff will assist with a manual contact tracing record. Hand sanitiser stations are available around the centre for your convenience so please remember to use them... and if you or any family members who are attending a session here at the centre are unwell with cold or flu like symptoms please cancel your visit until you are symptom free. 22.01.2022 We are still waiting on delivery of the updated Emergency Direction from authorities to confirm whether we can re-open or not. We are also waiting to receive the new COVID-19 Safety or Management plan, which is expected to contain our unique QR code from the SA Government, which will be the primary way for authorities to contact trace. That QR code will be prominently displayed at our entrance. You will need to download the mySA Gov app which contains the QR Code Scanner f...rom https://loom.ly/AIsEQiI if you wish to use the QR code. If you do not have a smartphone, then our reception staff will assist with a manual contact tracing record. Once we have received the updated Emergency Directions we will let you know more about our plans to re-open and what classes will be available. 22.01.2022 Christmas is nearly here! Our last trading day will be Wednesday 23rd of December 2020. We hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We'll be open from Saturday 2nd of January 2021

22.01.2022 We are planning to re-open Tuesday, 1st December subject to the authorities giving the green light to do so. We are looking forward to seeing our customers back in the pool. We would like to mention there will be some changes for when we re-open. We will need to restrict numbers to only one caregiver per customer, you will need to use a QR code to log your attendance, practice social distancing and use hand sanitiser. 22.01.2022 Meet Our Team! This is Alannah. You might have Alannah as a Pufferfish or Sea Lion Instructor Alannah has been teaching at Findon Swim School for almost two years but she's been swimming competitively since she was eight! She was swimming with Norwood Swimming Club. ... Alannah is currently studying Architecture at uni and enjoys a game of netball every now and then. ALSO, did you know that Alannah's birthday is Christmas day? Her favourite part about working with us is watching kids progress through the levels in our learn to swim program... AND funny chats with the kids. Alannah has always been around water (Pool, Beach and River) As an ex-competitive swimmer, she enjoys the challenges it brings and how relaxing swimming can be. We are so lucky to have Alannah teaching this important life skill to our swimmers.

21.01.2022 Swimmer of the Month This month we are celebrating OLIVIA! Olivia started swimming with us in July 2020. Olivia started in the Sea Star level and has now recently been promoted to the Swordfish level! ... Olivia's favourite part about swimming at Findon Swim School are our instructors and learning the Freestyle stroke. We’re so happy that we could be apart of Olivia’s swimming milestones. Congratulations and Good luck in the Swordfish Class!

13.01.2022 All Customers, With the recent update announcement from the State Government in regards to new COVID-19 restrictions. Restrictions have returned as they were at midnight on Monday 16th of November, which means the swim school is closed still until further notice. We believe during the coming week restrictions will be reviewed and hopefully we can get back up and running again soon.... As for lap swimming and rehabilitation at our swim schools, this will be reviewed on Wednesday 25th by our management teams. 10.01.2022 Since the announcement about eased restrictions earlier today, our phone and email has been running hot from people wanting to know when they can get back into the pool and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. We are waiting on confirmation from authorities about when we can safely re-open and will let you know ASAP so follow our Facebook updates and watch this space!

08.01.2022 We’ve had plenty of queries today from customers about when we can open. Learn to Swim, Squads, Aquarobics and Lap Swimming are back to NORMAL as of midday Tuesday, 1st December. To assist us to manage our numbers, there will be no Make Ups for the month of December. We have also relaxed our Make Up Policy so all financial customers will have until 31st March 2021 to use their current Make Ups. We have received our unique QR code, so make sure to download the free mySA GOV ap...p because you will need to have it installed and ready to use. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this very frustrating time.

07.01.2022 To all customers, We are now closed from midnight tonight because of State Government COVID-19 restrictions introduced today. Direct debits are on hold and any fees paid in advance will be credited against your account for when we can re-open. Anyone needing to settle their account will only be charged up until today’s closure. If you need to speak with a customer service officer, please call 8353 0688 or send a message via our website. Make sure to follow our Facebook pa...ge or website for the latest updates. Reception will be open and will have additional customer service officers available from 9am-5pm for Monday Thursday and Friday 9am midday during the closure period, and for this Saturday only our reception will be open between 9am midday to answer any query you may have.
