23.01.2022 Are you waiting on a dream, or a goal to come to pass do you look around you questioning why they get to have what your heart is crying out for... Your wishing, hoping, praying and yeah just maybe just maybe you have an attitude of 1 day some day out there yonda Waiting is hard, it sucks and at times out right painful However it’s what I believe what you choose to do during the waiting what you are going to focus on and what your willing to surround yourself with Sometimes its a case of realising for yourself why your not experiencing what it is that you really want what I mean is that sometimes we already have the keys to unlock that very thing but actually blinded by so many things distraction, procrastination, limiting beliefs, and the past just to name a few sometimes it really does just take a penny dropping moment to take those keys and to begin to ask to seek to knock once more We are all waiting on something no matter how big or small it might be something that recently I have come to realise is that it’s not always the thing , focusing on those things , those wants, those desires but bringing the focus back to myself and asking better questions. How am I treating myself in the process of waiting How am I taking care of myself in the waiting What am I doing for myself or is it about that one thing or many things when it comes to pass then everything will be all okay They say jealousy is a curse and I know for myself at times I have compared I have judged I have questioned we are all human yes even me we want it all and we want to do it all !!! I am learning that it’s doing the little things consistently that matters it doesn’t matter if it takes me 100 times or 1000 times to stay in the race of pursuing so long as I am so long as I keep showing up for me because nobody else can show up for me but me in this life I recently had somebody say to me that they felt really bad asking me to pray for something knowing that it was the exact thing that I am praying for myself I remarked that that their victory would become my victory and that is the same in life for anything when we celebrate truly celebrate somebody else’s victory we then get the backwash which opens up the door in our lives a a little bit more... And 1 more thing that I choose in the midst of my waiting is to take the focus off myself to be present for my friends my family those I come into contact with to empower them to encourage them, support and equip so that their light shines brighter than ever before The grass is not always greener on the other side choose to stay in your lane and do you, choose to listen to your heart be aware of what you’re focusing on , what you’re surrounding yourself with and choose to celebrate yourself and the people in your life each and every day See more

22.01.2022 Are you fueling up or are you leaking out We have had to follow rules and regulations in order to stay protected during this unprecedented time ... I wonder, in the midst of needing to implement the necessary measures I wonder how many of you have done what was required and then some How many of you have not just assisted immediate family and friends and reached out to your community not just a physical hand as well as mental and emotional support Are you fueling up on what inspires you , that which gives you strength and nourishment for your heart and soul or are you just in give, give, give more, just like a leaking tap Prehaps... it’s time to stop and take a breath or maybe several breaths and realise you don’t have to carry the weight of every 1 on your shoulders, that it’s ok to stop and refuel to recharge We have all been impacted during this time in 1 way or another and it’s just a matter of time where the restrictions will be lifted Are you ready for a life beyond lockdowns and restrictions now is the time to move from ordinary 2 extraordinary

17.01.2022 Better the devil you know than the 1 you don’t know right There are so many things in our life that seemingly just becomes natural to us , second natur...e if you will... We’re always being and doing , always taking so much information there is so much we begin to take on that we don’t realise at times that begins to creep in on the inside of who we are , it becomes our norm, comfortable, safe and familiar Sometimes when we want something so badly we have experienced it before , so your familiar with the process your certain how it’s going to play out or you have this mindset an expectation Well that’s just how it goes, that’s just the norm... prehaps you have been on the familiar merry go round and you want to hop off It just takes a willing and open heart to choose something different, something more that takes you higher, further than you could ever think ask or imagine It’s easy to get caught up on gossip, negative thinking, putting others down, and even being hard on ourselves This is an area for me personally where I am challenging myself to step out of familiar to find the places and spaces where it is not serving me any more same , same just does not cut it any more i’ve always been somebody that looks at life 10 steps ahead , has the plan has the map in hand and she’s ready to go she’s got all of the details sometimes it’s not the case of better the devil you know but making a choice to take action , to look inwardly to search for something different something better something more I am learning that familiar only gives you the opportunity to see half of the picture it limits you I’m been able to capture so much more I was recently sitting down with a friend over a drink and they said to me this comment that they saw so much more for me , that really challenged me it’s a beautiful thing to hear but it can bring so much contention because it’s the challenge of staying in the same place or choosing to keep moving forward What has been so familiar to you in your life What is there that is difference that is more that you could go after for yourself right NOW

14.01.2022 I take my hat off to all the parents out there at home looking after the kids I live with families both to the right and left of me Family R h...ave a little boy who has an amazing set of lungs you see detective Di has realised a pattern of behaviour yep bath time the whole street can probably hear him House L has a little girl who is relentless in ensuring things go her way and if she doesn’t she doesnt give up she is a chief negotiator otherwise we all get to know about it I was thinking we all at different times have felt like the little boy screaming our way through things we don’t like or on the other hand you may have felt like that little girl being completely resolute in who you are unshakable , persistent never giving up I am sure we have felt both sides at times in our life and no matter what you’re feeling right now let yourself feel it be gentle with you! 10.01.2022 Different doesn’t always mean its a bad thing or it’s wrong , different can actually be rather beautiful and exciting if you really let go of all the preconceiv...ed ideas and simply invite the adventure to unfold in your life... 07.01.2022 There lays deep within us all an ability to speak either life or death over ourselves and those around us words are a powerful resource that we at times c...an be used to either lift you up or have the potential to cut you down In this current climate that we are all enduring can I employ you to recognise that your words really do matter that you matter and those around you matter There is a song I’ve got going on repeat called We Got Love by Jessica Mauboy there’s a line in the song that says I throw my hands to the air to surrender so don’t give up cause we got love paraphrasing my point being is can we speak with contagious love no matter what happens We will all have differing opinions so many different views at this time my hope is that our words will release a sound of love and light for you and others right now -light the way See more

05.01.2022 if you had told me to stand in front of a mirror, speak and declare very specific things about myself I would have thought that’s just nuts even though... I’ve heard others talk about doing this something inside of me was always like yeah na not for me As a woman who is blind I don’t stand in front of a mirror to apply my lipstick or when doing my hair it’s a case of feeling my way through the process and having great mates that can say Hey Di you just need to re do that if something is a miss Just as it’s been such a priority in my life , to present myself in a way that would make a fantastic first impression always taking time to think about any given situation I would be entering into , what would I wear what would I look like Most often than not it’s a matter of just trusting my gut instinct , that my efforts are good enough because at the end of the day I don’t get to stand in front of a mirror and analyse The question that women have been asking for centuries Does my ass look big in this! Compliments and words given from others that inspire, motivate and encourage you is a beautiful thing and we all need it we aren’t meant to walk this life alone however just as I pour so much into my external part of my life I’ve recently been investing in my heart paying attention to the internal world of who is Di Let me say at first I thought it was really weird standing there in my bathroom standing in front of my Mira only able to make a very blurred outline of myself and I began to speak a couple of things over myself, I didn’t want to stand there and do this I thought it was ridiculous it felt so uncomfortable and yet I felt it was so necessary I felt such a prompting within my heart and spirit to now stop and recognise to fully breathe in the revelation of who I am it’s choosing to not just have the head knowledge of words declared and coming into alinement but opening yourself to a way of being allowing yourself to encompass all of who you are Sometimes you just don’t realise that there is a part of who you are that is needing to be embraced, nourished and nurtured for as long as I can remember even as a kid I’ve always valued order and structure keeping everything separate and neat again to keep the flame of a great impression alive... what I am discovering as I am embarking upon my heart journey is the opportunity I get to not just acknowledge truth however I now get the privilege to honour and celebrate who I am and the woman that I want to continue to grow and develop into You all know the saying ‘It won’t happen over night but it will happen I know as I continue to dive deeper as i become more comfortable with the rhythm of me being present on the inside is already filling my heart up with so much excitement for all that is yet to come I share this with you to challenge you today to take a moment to stop and connect with yourself , give yourself the space and the time to recognise who you are and the hidden gems that need to come to the surface that needs to come out of the dark and into the light I want to live anextraordinary life don’t you See more

Nevertheless, none of us imagined our lives like we are having to experience...
