22.01.2022 As many jobs begin, this job started with a rough picture, refined down to a design that this client had been waiting to have made for her. These handmade ear rings are Broome Pearls and a claw set band of white diamonds made with 18k white gold. We sourced all the stones within days to balance design/cost to meet the brief. No need to worry my customer kindly gave consent to let me use her as my ear model. Yes she laughed at me but I thought I had better ask !!... 11.01.2022 I felt incredibly lucky when an old friend who I have known long enough to have coached him as a kid came in with his partner and the brief to make his partner a wedding ring. This family have trusted me to make several pieces for them but this one was .... different. As my friend lives overseas, his partner was told he had to wait for his ring as I had to make it ...... when they visited Australia, no pressure !!! Thankfully I designed a ring he loved, that used a family diamond with a two tone (18k/9k) White gold matte finished wedder with a polished white gold bezel.

08.01.2022 A picture is worth a thousand words !! So a customer asks "Can you put a symbol on a ring for me ?" "Sure" I say, "What would you like ........ do you have a picture?" Thankfully they did, I made a few slight style changes to fit the top neatly, as its for a mens ring and used a textured finish to help symbol stand out, and this was the result. The fleur de lis was hand cut from a piece of metal plate.... The ring is yellow gold with a matte texture background and polished white gold fleur de lis. The customer was very happy. 06.01.2022 This piece was made from using the customers wedding ring which she loved and a pear shape sapphaire she had been given. The princess diamond set wedder was kept intact, then by using a double bezel setting it kept the ring practical with nothing to catch on clothes (or babies) while making the sapphaire the focal point. 02.01.2022 This ring was handmade from the customers idea for the top with some refinement from us and our input for the side detail. I'm very proud to say this ring is one piece of several I have made for this couple including the first item I made in this workshop approx. 15 years ago. It is made from 18k yellow and white gold, set with a created emerald and diamonds. Got a "crazy" idea, its a great place to start. Making and Repairing jewellery is our passion....
