13.01.2022 What comes first Benches and cupboards or Flooring? I have been asked this question many times by my clients. With my experience, Flooring should be laid prior to fitting your benches and cupboards. You might think WHY should i pay extra money for the timber or tiles which will be hidden under the benches and cupboards once the project will be completed. There are many reasons as to why you should do this, i have listed some key ones for your knowledge:-... 1.Because the timber or tiles will require fewer cuts, You actually save money on the cost of laying the Floor. 2. Before laying your tiles or timber,make sure that your floors are level. This will help the entire kitchen placement as the floors will be level, which will in turn ensure that the all your benches will be ultimately level when being installed. 3. if you ever need to move or change your cabinets then you will not have to replace the flooring as there will be no empty spaces where the changes have been made. 4. you won’t need extra timber or tiles to save for future use. I hope the above tips will help you make the right decisions when planning your next bathroom or kitchen floors.
