This is how we received it.... It may not look like much, but if you know about ceramic coatings, you'll know how laborious they are to remove when applied improperly. Couple that with the intricate design of the Civic Type-R, and we had our work cut out.

14.01.2022 It was more than just the paint that needed rectification. All the wheels and brake callipers were machine polished to remove the poorly applied ceramic coating, before being properly protected with our high temperature resistant ceramic coating. Once applied, it was infra-red cured to guarantee maximum hardness and longevity.

A new rear wiper design meant that we had to remove it to gain access to polish and ceramic coat the underlying glass. An unexpected delay (top marks to Mercedes for over-engineering such a simple part), but the results were perfect, just as we like it. Then we could get back to the rest of the machine polishing, including all the minute gloss black trims. For some, this would be an extraordinary level of service. For us, this is our baseline. 12.01.2022 One of Ian Callum's iconic designs, it was only fitting that this Jaguar XF was given a new lease of life. We were able to restore and preserve its originality while keeping within a sensible budget - now it's ready for another 12 years of enjoyment.

12.01.2022 Some of the highlights from several days of work to wind back the clock on this German hotrod. This car was part of one of our immersion training courses, and the results you see are a joint effort with the talented Mr Zanos. Safe to say he lived up to expectations!

12.01.2022 We're in a privileged position where we help develop the products, train the installers and install ceramic coatings ourselves as well as fix the damage when things go wrong. Read this to see why you should do your research before choosing a ceramic coating installer. The 'dirt' you can see in the photos is trapped within a thick layer of excess ceramic coating that hasn't been levelled correctly. The nature of ceramic coatings means this had to be carefully sanded and polis...hed off without compromising the original paint underneath. Many parts had to be disassembled to rectify the damage and ensure a flawless finish. Rusty water staining underneath the wing was another unexpected find. After safely and permanently removing the staining, we chemically treated the bolt holes to prevent the corrosion returning and educated the customer about how to mitigate this issue in the future. A range of tools and techniques were necessary but many hours later, we were successful in safely restoring the car back to perfect condition. There aren't many workshops able to offer this level of service, but for us it's nothing out of the ordinary. Ceramic coatings are a semi-permanent modification to your vehicle and this is an unfortunate example of what it takes to repair the damage - and it all could've been avoided in the first place. It takes knowledge, experience, equipment and fastidious quality control to consistently install ceramic coatings to a high standard, as intended by the manufacturer.
