22.01.2022 I was delighted to do a facial today on my first male client since I officially opened Fine Facials! As you can see, Sean has quite a full beard so I took care of that too. I combed it with a Fusion beard comb, and treated it with a vitamin enriched mask by Fleur De Mer which can be left on the hair and is great for the scalp too. At the end of the facial, I applied some Pen Lan Elixir by Algologie to the beard which can also stay on the beard. Pen Lan Elixir is an extremel...y powerful and natural seaweed concentrate and one of Algologies famous products. Thank you Sean for letting me take pics of you and letting me care for your skin( and beard) and for calming your mind. Sean said he felt he slept through most of the treatment. Part 1 This fantastic vitamin C treatment is on the Fine Facials treatment menu and uses the Fleur De Mer cosmeceutical products as well as some Algologie products. I have called it Beauty Revealed on the menu. This incredible treatment is an instant firming and lifting treatment as well as a delivery of Vitamin C into the skin. This treatment, particularly as a course of treatments, may also reduce pigmentation. ... It is a great one off treatment for the bride/groom to be, mother/father of the bride or for any special occasion. The lifting and firming effects last up to 3 days. Vitamin C is important not only in our diet but also for our skin. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant and salon Vitamin C facials are perfect for helping Melasma, post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and in general, anti ageing. I wanted to share these BEFORE and AFTER photos with you after doing this treatment on my husband last night. The top photos are the before and the bottom ones are the after photos. I was astounded at the results when I did this treatment on myself and was equally astounded by the immediate results on my husband. As you can see, the overall appearance of his skin is much more refined, smooth and luminous. Whilst there are still lines on his forehand, they are significantly reduced. My husband is a willing model but is not into facials as such so thank you for letting me put you all over social media!! I will soon post part 2 which is a short video and a photo of the Vitamin C tightening mask on the skin. Its quite a sheer mask when it goes on and then turns into a very tightening crust looking mask. 05.01.2022 MY SALON PRODUCTS OF CHOICE at FINE FACIALS. Believe me, once I started looking for a range of skincare products to choose to use in my salon at Fine Facials, I was quite overwhelmed with how much is out there. I decided in the end to use two ranges- Algologie which is a French marine/seaweed range delivering rich sea plant extracts to the skin and Fleur De Mer which is an Australian made cosmeceutical range with great actives. Fleur De Mer also gives great results and like ...Algolgie, is very affordable too. They are also famous for their sunscreens, both clear and tinted. WHY? These products are what my own personal facialist has used on me over the years and I have always seen immediate results on my skin. I am using mostly the Algologie range as my home maintenance regime and I give myself weekly treatments including both ranges. My skin has never looked better! I have been getting comments which has been lovely. Both ranges can be effectively used together. So far, Ive had great feedback from clients about the feel, smell and the results. I thought it important to share my reasons with you. It was a slow process deciding but Im very happy with my decision. I feel that they do what they say and have great integrity. 05.01.2022 FINE FACIALS HAS CLOSED. After much thoughtful consideration, I have decided to close my business, Fine Facials. Unfortunately, I have a neck/back issue which makes doing facial treatments at a full-time level unsustainable now and in the long term. 01.01.2022 GRACEFULLY NOURISHED This is one of my favourite anti-ageing treatments for a mature dry skin and the results are phenomenal! This treatment uses the products in the De La Presquile range by Algolgie. The treatment incorporates a professional peel which exfoliates the skin whilst stimulating cellular renewal, the salon only Algae Gel Mask which protects, oxygenates, nourishes and stimulates the skin. The main feature of this treatment is the incredible fabric mask(pictured...) enriched with Marine Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid and hydrating and soothing Aloe Vera.
