25.01.2022 AH ROMANCE... What a fantastic anniversary present. Pieces of plaster frieze saved from the Palace Theatre in Melbourne. (Now torn down) They met there, married there. It was a challenge to have someone walk in the door with bits of plaster that weighed more than the car she was driving and and an idea... but such a great project.

21.01.2022 We always seal the back of your canvas stretcher to prevent THIS from happening. We can do a service job on your pictures and canvas. Just think of it as grease and oil change for paintings. A clean paper backing and good stainless hardware and you can't go wrong.

20.01.2022 Client wants to open it up to use scales. His Dad's old gold scales with the map of area in background printed by Plan Scan. Weights set in base. One of our most difficult framing jobs.

19.01.2022 On the evils of plastic frames and "glass". My first job of the day getting rid of some nasty yellowed Mylar on this beautiful little print. This is why we hate this stuff. The client has wanted it up on the wall but hated that it looked so yellow. We can't get it off entirely (sticky tape) but managed to cut it off enough so it can't be seen.
