23.01.2022 Microcerotermes Turneri - a common species of termites found in the local area. This species like to build mud mounds or nests in the garden beside the house as seen here. Jamie promptly identified this species and confirmed that although it does like rotting or decaying wood, and even the occasional gyprock wall, it is not as aggressive as some other species found in the area. Much to the householders relief. These pictures Jamie took show a nest with nymph (immature), alate...s (young reproductives) and workers. If you are concerned about termites it is imperative you seek professional and scientific help, not all species are as slow acting as these. For advice based on 30 years of local experience and for a free termite evaluation please contact Sue or Robyn. CALL 4634 5222 to BOOK a free consultation or fill out the enquiry form at www.finesto.com.au or MESSAGE us.

02.01.2022 Monitoring a house with a bad German cockroach infestation is crucial. This allows us to track management progress throughout a pest program. These traps have been set early in the progress of the program. German cockroaches are prolific breeders, demonstrated by the fact that all life cycle phases are documented in these photos. Look closely and you can see several stages of maturity and even egg sacks on a female. German cockroaches can catch a lift into your home via cardboard boxes, fruit & veggie boxes, used or second hand white goods or from tenancy to tenancy. If you require immediate treatment please call Sue & Robyn on 4634 5222 or complete an enquiry form at www.finesto.com.au
