18.01.2022 Steampunk lamp I made from a collection of vintage fittings. A bit of (VERY HEAVY!) fun.

16.01.2022 Australian Red Cedar Chest . An heirloom piece for my daughter to pass down through the generations. From a design by the late great Neil Scobie. Completely joinery, timber, glue, and 2 pins for the hinged lid. Old school carpentry!

16.01.2022 A work in progress - New Hall table... for when we have a hall...

15.01.2022 Sorry for the photo quality! Solid 50mm thick Australian Silky Oak hand carved cabinet. To get the aged look involved 5 shades of staining over many days, and a blowtorch. I was going for an authentic old look rather than distressed new. Sometimes history takes forever!

11.01.2022 This one is going straight into the collection! Smallest house on the tiny island is 7mm x 4mm x 3mm, and has carved roof detail, windows and door! Timbers are Huon Pine, Banksia, Jarrah and more. Water is 4mm deep crystal clear resin. Check out more at finewoodgallery.com.au
