22.01.2022 In order to promote investment in new assets, a new temporary full expensing measure is introduced by govt. The measure allows eligible businesses to fully deduct upfront the cost of most assets in the year of purchase instead of depreciating it over its useful life. This scheme effectively replaces the instant assets write-off and is even better as the limit of $150,000 is not applicable in this scheme. The scheme will include assets first held, used or installed by a business between October 06, 2020 and June 30, 2022. For further information and to eligibility please contact us.

17.01.2022 If you use fuel in heavy vehicles, auxiliary equipment or any other machinery or equipment, you may be eligible for fuel tax credits from ATO. The ATO revises the rates for the credits twice a year i.e. in February and August. The eligibility is much wider than to the transport companies only and many business who may be eligible for the claim miss it.
