25.01.2022 Just delivered this cool new chicken hutch to Emma over at Em Designs. It's going into an enclosed chicken run so we've left the front open and added a detachable ramp (not pictured) for the chickens to get up in to their new home. The covered bottom floor gives your chickens extra shade and the detachable, lidded nesting box makes it easy as to collect the eggs. Available in all the Colorbond colours and with wheels for easy movement. Give us a call, message us on Facebook or check out our website for a new home for your flock.

25.01.2022 Bit of a change of pace this week with the weather keeping us indoors. Finished off this fantastic timber and steel bench for Claire Wright and have started working on a set of curved wood stackers to keep my firewood out of the rain.

23.01.2022 Already got a nice wood stack for the house and don't need one of our bigger stackers? Well, we've got these little ones that are just perfect for inside next to the fire so you don't have to go out into the cold when your fire needs more fuel. Available in a wide range of painted colours and delivered free to the Southern Highlands.

23.01.2022 I've decided to hang these pots of strawberries off the new vegetable garden enclosure to increase my growing space. Not only will they look amazing when they'r...e full of fruit, but keeping the fruit off the ground and away from the birds means we will have more to eat at our place. Win win! #strawberries #hangingpots #strawberry #verticalgardening #gardenenclosure #orchardenclosure #smallspacegardening

20.01.2022 Finished up the first of our new wood stackers. Available in multiple sizes they're great for outside on a patio or inside next to the fire.

18.01.2022 Another enclosure all finished in Wildes Meadow. One of the great advantages to a business built around supporting gardeners is getting to work in some fabulously beautiful parts of the world. Get in contact if you'd like a similar enclosure to protect your garden.

17.01.2022 It's the little things that make a product easy to live with. Having a way to open and close gates from both inside and out isn't a big thing but it just reduces the impact of an enclosure on the gardener. With this we can keep out of your way as well as keep your garden bird free.

16.01.2022 Super excited to finally hit the go button on our new website! Em Designs did a magnificent job building the whole site and it looks fantastic. This means you can go check out galleries of our previous work, see all the things we build and buy our products from our new online store. Check it out at fwfab.com.au

16.01.2022 Another custom piece of furniture looking great in it's new home. The black stain on this timber top coffee table came up great and matches nicely with the painted steel legs. Send us a message if you'd like a free quote on your own piece custom built to your needs.

14.01.2022 Don't have the space or the budget for one of our full size enclosures? How about a set of these curved steel hoops? They can be built to any height and covered in whatever netting your garden needs. Kathy has opted for some removable fabric netting for these so she doesn't have to always have the trees covered. The trees will get covered in November as these apple trees begin to fruit.

12.01.2022 Final touches of paint going onto this orchard enclosure we're building for Kathy at The Secret Garden NSW. Kathy runs a fantastic wedding venue so keeping the visual impact of the enclosure down was a big priority. Fortunately, with a quality zinc-rich primer and a wide range of top coat colours we can provide all of the durability and longevity of galvanised steel without impacting on the look of the garden. If your garden needs protection from birds and animals but you don't want to sacrifice the view then message us on Facebook for a free quote.

10.01.2022 Bit of a slow week caused by all the rain but we've got the structure up on this enclosure, ready for mesh next week. Then the old nets and hoops can come down allowing so much more room for gardening! Get in touch if you'd like your own enclosure to protect your fruit and veggies.

10.01.2022 If you only plan to net your fruit trees for part of the year having a curved top on any frame is a must! It makes it so much easier to pull netting over the top and adds a bit of style to the framework even during the winter months when there are no fruit to protect. If you'd like something similar to this for your garden get in contact for a quote on an enclosure custom built for your needs.

08.01.2022 It's always great to see a happy client!

07.01.2022 Another enclosed orchard all finished up this afternoon. It's been a beautiful place to work for a couple of weeks and I'm really proud of how well this enclosure has come up.

06.01.2022 Espalliared apples are such an easy way to make the most of your space and give you room to grow. We've got this one growing on the wall of the enclosure built ...by @fwfab between the enclosure and the chook cage. Looking forward to a bumper crop. #espallier #espallieredapples #appletree #smallspacegardening #spacesaving

04.01.2022 Always good to hear from a happy customer. Shout out to Mitchell Page for this awesome photo of his new wood stacker all loaded up.

03.01.2022 We've built 2 of our enclosures in this garden and it's a beautiful place to be. Kathy is opening the garden to the public for the long weekend. Bring the family down, get out of the house and see one of the great gardens of the Southern Highlands.

02.01.2022 As someone who has rented all my adult life I've always struggled to have my own Veggie garden. Some landlords aren't comfortable with a tenant digging up their back yard and if you have to move it's hard to take your produce with you. I'm super excited to be building these mobile garden beds because they're the perfect solution for me. Sturdy and beautiful they can be moved to any part of my backyard to catch the sunlight and when I have to move they can be rolled onto a trailer and taken to the next place I live. I can't wait until the weather starts warming back up and I can get stuck into growing my own food.
