12.01.2022 Join us at 11.30am on Wednesday 22nd January corner of Curvers Drive & Inyadda Drive, Manyana to meet with David Shoebridge, MLC. "Now is the time for all three... levels of government to take the initiative and call a moratorium on all developments approved before the recent devastating bushfires. This should include a full audit of all affected areas indexed to their relevant level of fire impact. Such an audit needs to assess the impact on all flora and all fauna from insects to the larger marsupials. All currently "approved" developments need to be subject to reassessment based on their impact on long term regeneration and recovery. Future DAs need now to be assessed with consideration given to the environmental impact of these fires. Any halt to developments need to driven by government, its departments and agencies and supported by the wider community. It is easy to be beguiled by any self imposed, feel good actions by those with an interest in continued development but these actions do not change the final intent nor do they recognise the long term impact of these fires. Our future for those born and yet to be born is far too important to be left to individuals, groups or companies whose vision extends no further than their egos and their all important profit and loss statements." - Colin Beszant, Manyana DO YOU AGREE? #manyanasaysnodevelopment #manyana #bushfiresaustralia #overdevelopment #saveourwildlife #biobanking #southcoastnsw #juststop #developmentmoratorium

06.01.2022 Hello everyone, This is Big Wal a rescue horse who is agisted on Curvers Drive with my 2 mares. Big Wal is around 15 years and is very nervous. Hope is the ...bay ( brown) mare in the paddock and Katy is the old grey mare. My old grey mare is 38 years ( yes human years). I have had her for over 30 years. I wanted to thank the community for looking out for these guys and always driving slowly past when i am walking them. Today Big Wal had a strange turn... kicking out and running around and normally this is associated with something he has eaten. This happened once last year and its very distressing seeing a horse in pain We found a whole lot of vegetables thrown into his paddock such as tomatoes and water melon. Many of these foods are toxic for horses and although it may be just someone being kind i just wanted to let you know carrots are pretty much the only treat we give them. Today someone had also taken the rug off my old mare which is very strange too. If you see anyone feeding the horses over the fence could you let me know via Facebook or remind them that the horses can get sick. Thank you everyone...Cheers Brodie
