18.01.2022 Finos Farewell 70 years - it's such a long time to serve the people of Unley. What a ride - we loved the people, we loved the community.... So the time has come for Finos Snack Bar on Unley Road, serving the people of Unley for 70 years, to bid farewell. A sincere thank you to all the loyal supporters and customers over the years as well as all the staff that worked for us. The doors will close late November 2020 but the memories of our life on Unley Road, started by Mick and Ann Finos will continue forever. Our motto putting the taste back in food along with providing fresh traditional homestyle lunches served with friendly service has always underpinned the business over the years. The last Melbourne Cup Sweep has been done. It was so much fun over the years with all the Footy Tipping Competitions, the friendly banter with the customers and being part of the Xmas atmosphere along Unley Road. Finos Fine Foods will still continue the catering side of the business, providing corporate business lunches, birthdays, family celebrations and event organising. 15.01.2022 It is with deep regret that the matriarch of the Finos Family, Ann Finos passed away peacefully on 14 April 2020. Ann will be making her last trip down Unley Road after 70 years of overseeing the family business on Friday morning, 24 April. As a mark of respect we will be closed on Friday.
