24.01.2022 There is something wonderfully magical about watching the imprint develop using Cyanotype. This is the before shot of a piece I did for my sister and brother in law's birthday present. 40 leaves for 40 years! I love the process and it reminds me of all those hours I spent in the dark room.

22.01.2022 Off for an adventure in the park on a Sunday afternoon! It's been a busy week for me. I've been doing a bit of corporate work lately... professional portraits, promotional material etc. In the last week I've photographed for a kindergarten, a children's cancer research group in the oncology ward of the children's hospital and a classic car collector. Such a wide variety and never a dull moment! Love my job!

I'm looking forward to presenting another photography professional development for art teachers at a local high school this week - this time focussing on photographing stage productions, using low light and stage lighting. 11.01.2022 These bushfires are just horrendous. The only tiny positive that I can find are the incredible red sunsets and sunrises through the smoke and haze. I've never seen anything like it. How can something so beautiful also be so destructive? Fiona Rob

10.01.2022 I just realised that I haven't posted to Facebook in over 2 months! Oops! Time files when you are having fun! Am I too late to say Happy New Year? Maybe I should get in early and say Happy Easter, just in case I forget to post for another 2 months??? Haha! I've been working on a number of personal creative projects, so I'm looking forward to sharing more of that soon. I've also been chipping away at a rather large job for a classic car collector, which has been fascinating for me, as I know very little about cars! 05.01.2022 Golden grass, burnt black trunks, gum green leaves, blue skies painted with white streaky clouds... Is there anything better than the colours of the Australian bush in winter? I enjoyed playing with light paintings again on holiday in the scenic rim.

04.01.2022 A few months ago I took some photographs for ANZCHOG, the peak professional body for paediatric oncologists and other healthcare professionals who care for children with cancer in Australia and New Zealand. I spent a day with children and their families in the children's Hospital Oncology Ward, as well as in the scientific labs, where I saw tumours being tested, processed, and stored. It really opened my eyes to the heartache and triumph that is paediatric cancer care.
