24.01.2022 What a great appeal to get behind & help Banyule families who are struggling this Christmas due to covid.

22.01.2022 May is domestic violence prevention month. We need to put an end to domestic/family violence. We need to have that hard discussion & STOP DV in families now. It’s been a horrific week as discussed below & enough is enough.

17.01.2022 Hello Hawdon neighbours, By now you should have received your ballot papers and to make your vote count, you need to post your completed ballot papers by no later than 6pm on Friday 23rd October 2020. If you are undecided on who to vote for and have any questions, please feel free to call me on 0433 696 352.... I'm 100% Independent and I have no affiliation or membership to any political party. All my ideas for our community have been formed from the hundreds of conversations I have had with our lovely Hawdon residents and not influenced or formulated by political party. I've received so many messages of support from so many residents that I have never met before, many have also sent me pictures of them filling out their ballot papers and others have sent me pictures of them posting their ballots in the post - keep them coming, some of the pictures have been hilarious! I’m ready to represent my community, I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and get things done. VOTE [1] FIONA MITSINIKOS READY TO LISTEN, READY TO ACT

13.01.2022 Small Business grants Round 5 are open. A great way Banyule CC is helping small business recover after covid.

13.01.2022 It’s in the mail.......Vote 1 Fiona Mitsinikos!! Thank you to all the amazing people who offered to put a corflute of me up in their front yard & happy voting to those who still need to get around to it!! Ps don’t mind my gardeners hands, very active weekend of gardening at our house & happy little chooks now in their new home, veggies growing & weeding completed.

12.01.2022 Wow, what an amazing journey the last few months have been but I’m so happy to have been elected as the new Councillor for the Hawdon Ward. I’ve met some fantastic residents as I hand delivered 6000 brochures every week for 3 weeks, We’ve chatted, we’ve laughed, talked about their concerns & hopes for Hawdon & now I’m so excited to be able to make a change. I want to thank all the residents & friends who were happy to stare at my corflutes in their front garden for many wee...ks, Amy for her help with campaign design & brochure drops near her house, Kallista for her messages of encouragement & letterbox dropping with me, my amazing campaign photographer Jodi, my Father in law John for his help and all my friends who messaged me words of encouragement & I probably should also thank the pizza shop & fish n chip shop for all the dinners on the nights we were too exhausted!! Congratulations to all the candidates on running great campaigns & putting themselves out there to better our community. The last thanks go to my gorgeous family, my husband George who rode the killer hills of Hawdon delivering my brochures with our eldest son by his side, my very enthusiastic youngest child who walked until he dropped & my amazing daughter who walked by my side for the entire drop & never once complained, she kept pushing me along. This win is as much theirs as it is mine, the joyous laughter that took over our house last night was beautiful. I love my Mitsi team. I look forward to meeting many more residents over the next 4 years as we work together for Hawdon & Banyule. See more
